Maybe I'm missing something.  Except for the cool colors, how is it all that different from any other leash?

Well, I would recommend it to a dog who pulls because it stretches slightly and brings the dog back.  It's made of rubber, and different lengths.  I wonder if i should get one...

Is it stretchy? I'm for it as long as you can easily control your dog on it.

Yes, it is stretchy, but it only expands a little, because like I saidf before it is made of rubber.  There is also a string inside for extra support.

Ha ha, thoes look just like the workout bands that came with my Mom's (overpriced) DVD workout set.

Good idea but I'll stick with the leashes that work for me.

    Okay, Xebby.

no no, I didn't mean that as an insult. I really do think thoes are kinda cool but with everthing I've been throuhg with my dog I'de rather not take the chance.  What I ment is I've felt that kind of roap, from my mom's workout set, and it's rather streachy, I was just surprized to see it used as a leash.

Oh, I seriously didn't take it as an insult, because its true there are leashes that work for someone that may not work for another.

Hmm, I don't really understand how a leash that stretches twice its normal size could provide control. Has anyone ever used one of these?

I've got these little extensions called "jerk-ease" that you can attach to regular leashes, but are mainly used for retractable leashes. They have a little bit of "give" or stretch to them, so when the dog hit the end of the leash, it doesn't yank your arm off. But even with those, you don't have quite as much control--because if you need to, you can yank back on your dog as quickly.

It stretches to twice it's size, but that's because it's only 3 feet!!!  It stretches to six feet!

Even so, if you needed to have complete control of the dog a leash that stretches from 3 feet to 6 feet doesn't seem like it would provide that. I like the idea, because it would reduce the shock you get when they pull on the leash. But I'm not sure if I'd buy one.

I usually walk with Max on my left - I hold the leash in my right hand and wrap it around my left hand.  This gives me quite a bit of control.

I don't really understand how that works.  IMO, if its only 3 feet and has rubber which is meant to stretch, you are encouraging your dog to pull.  I wouldn't expect Dodger to walk within 3 feet of me for an entire walk so he would have to pull to move further away - something that I personally wouldn't want.
I like how the leash looks but would only use it for training or walking to the car - only when my dog has no reason to move more than 3 feet from me.

I have a six foot nylon leash that has a stretch zone built into the end of it, so that if Sofia just HAS to get herself into the deepest bushes to poop, I don't have to walk in there, too.

I don't use it for regular walks, just potty walks.
