Has anyone ever used one of these?   I've got these little extensions called "jerk-ease" that you can attach to regular leashes, but are mainly used for retractable leashes. They have a little bit of "give" or stretch to them, so when the dog hit the end of the leash, it doesn't yank your arm off. I like the idea, because it would reduce the shock you get when they pull on the leash. • jetty Posted : 9/23/2006 7:12:09 PM I don't really understand how that works.  IMO, if its only 3 feet and has rubber which is meant to stretch, you are encouraging your dog to pull.  I wouldn't expect Dodger to walk within 3 feet of me for an entire walk so he would have to pull to move further away - something that I personally wouldn't want.
