Thanks for the update Jaime.  I've been thinking about Glenda and Todd all day.  It sounds like the surgery was much needed and hopefully he's resting comfortably.

I'm back....physically at least.  I think my brain is off in slumber land.......

I misunderstood the doctor....there were FOUR blockages, but two of them together got THREE stents.....one was in a little area and did NOT get a stent.  Those were the 80's and 90's.  The 99% er dang near had me on the floor in tears.  So four blockages fixed....one without a stent, but he's still got 4 new pieces in his heart.

He was uncomfortable as heck when he had to on his back....and re-bled a bit after the had removed the sheath so wasn't allowed out of bed until 11PM, and had to lay pretty much flat.  Talk about loosing one's dignity....poor guy had to lay flat on his back while I fed him tiny little pieces of his lunch.....

Todd has not smoked in over 36 hours.  I have, but a grand total of 4 yesterday and only 2 today......I'm seeing that yes, some of it is an addiction, but a ton of it is just habit.......HE had all sorts of really good drugs yesterday to keep smoking of his mind!

In the last two nites I MIGHT have had 5 or 6 hours sleep total so am feeling a bit like the walking wounded......

But, we had a wonderful outcome, and that's what matters!

Glenda, I am so glad that Todd made it through everything okay. I have been praying non-stop for the both of you.
Please get yourself some rest now that the worst is over. All we need is for you to get sick.
    (((hugs))) for both of you
