Well folks, for the first time today since the stress test I allowed myself to slow down and NOT keep cooking, canning, painting, etc, non-stop.  Guess what?  I realized that I am EXHAUSTED!!  I've been ignoring my aches and pains and kept on moving and OUCH...today I realize that aside from being flat worn out, I hurt like crazy.

So, that being said, I'm probably pretty cranky too.  I'm gonna log off idog, cook a nice meal and focus on hubby tonite.

Hopefully, best case, there will be NO blockages to fix, second best would be that they are minmal enough to angio and stent....worst case, he'll have to have bypass.  Well, that's not the worst but I'm not gonna even THINK about anything worse than bypass.

If he stays in tommorow nite, I'll TRY really hard to post an update.  I'll be staying at my moms and not sure that her internet works.  Will TRY to go across the street to my sisters house, but SHE's got the cardiac surgeon tommorow and is gonna have a rough day too.  Worst case, I'll call DS and have him email Jaime and if she's online tommorow nite, SHE can post an update.

I'll be lighting the candle at 9 tonite (eastern) and sending up prayers for both Todd and Sharon.  Oh and danehavens Mom too.  Feel free to join in.

Light a good smelly candle, put a nice warm towel on your forehead and relax taking in the smells and releasing the stress in life.

I'll be around if you want to send me an update to post

That's the best thing to do for Todd, Glenda.  My candle will be lit... may God be with you all!

Glenda, I'm sending good thoughts and vibes for plenty of strength for you and your husband.  Often it's the anticipation of something scary that's worse than the actual event itself, so these days leading up to now have been wearing on both of you, physically and emotionally.  We'll be eager to hear an update whenever you're able to post one.  Take care!

    Hope everything is fine!

How is your husband doing?  The surgeries today are usually very successful.  The most will be maintaining healthy post operative regime.  Esp. considering the diabetes.  How has he been in sticking to the ADA diet?  If he is good at it, he probably will adhere to whatever the post op teaching will be for him.

Of course, he will be in the hospital for a couple days, right? and my advice to you is to try to  relax and get yourself more healthy.  Have faith.   Then when he is homeward bound you can be a most excellent support.

Hey Glenda, I hope to hear that the surgery went well and Todd's resting peacefully and you're able to breathe a sigh of relief.   [sm=angel.gif]

Glenda; I'm sorry for coming to this so late but I'll be praying for you and your family. Rebecca's right; God won't give you more of a burden than you can carry. He's there to share the load with you.
