Well we just got back from our run to the park, like we do every night. We were running and A lady with a little girl were there, and I stopped to let the little girl pet Bailey. The lady said "Wow he has such beautiful coloring for a Whippet, I thought they were supose to be white." Am I missing something???   I thought I knew dog breeds pretty well...   Hmmm, I know, they must have just changed the breed standard for the Whippet.       Anyone think they look alike???lol Bailey is the new Whippet everyone. • meilani Posted : 8/9/2006 7:23:16 PM When I had Borzoi, no one knew what they were. One time I was at Petsmart with the female Borzoi I had and Souffle my Boston Terrier. The lady standing behind me started going on about how she knows so much about dogs, she always goes to dog shows and at the end of the conversation she says...   Lady: "Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that you have a lovely Afghan Hound and Pug."   It seems a lot of people don't know Bostons either. Mine constantly get mistaken for Pugs, "Miniature" Pit Bulls and the latest was "Irish Boston Terriers". Good Lordy. I get that one alot with Blue.  In fact there we took Blue to the park not to long ago and some lady was telling her kids to stay clear of my wild wolf.  My wild wolf was laying down watching geese swim in the pond. [] Also don't you know that if you have white gsd with blue eyes is worth much more. I should go sell Blue for ten thousand dollars.     No matter what we say to my aunt she thinks Blue is a full blooded albino GSD worth thousands of dollars and we should sell him.
