Police Department Needs HELP

Please, everyone continue to keep your eyes open for other dogs.  I have talked to a few trainers that have worked with Rose and there are questions about her abilities.

Anytime!! (!t was a little self motivated, since we are leaving the country for a week today and Wesley is staying with a trainer who he has never stayed with before, I thought we could use some extra good karma [])...
 
Also - in case you are still looking after this weekend...  How old do they have to be before you know what they are like?  There is a foster up here in Boston, she is 4 1/2 months old, rescued from a  situation where she was a Christmas gift to someone who didn't want her.  She is being fostered with 2 other GSD's and from my limited interaction with her (at the dog park) she is active, not shy, likes other dogs and people, wrestles pretty rough for such a little girl with my Wesley who throws her down repeatedly in their wrestling and she just keeps coming...  I have no idea if this rescue group would consider this kind of work as an option even, but could find out...  as I said, I am out of the country next week - but if things with Rose don't work out and you want me to look into this, let me know...

You can tell as early as 12 weeks.  If the rescue group would consider it, I can tell you how to test her out. 
 
We'll chat once your back in the country it things don't work out with Rose.

Mic---Just in case Rose doesn't work out, I was looking for a GSD for you and found this site.  I don't know anything about the dogs there, didn't look that deep.  But, maybe they could help or give a lead.

So I spent the day with Rose today....
 
She is so sweet, and absolutely beautiful!  Unfortunately, she doesn't have the sharpness to work as a patrol dog.  She is just to soft.  She could be a great bomb or narc dog, but I just can afford to spend the resources training one dog for scent and the other for patrol.  I have to get a dog that is dual purpose. 
 
So...everyone please keep your eyes and ears open for GSD's and Mal's that have working potential.  I have a few leads still, but please keep them coming.

I'm curious to see if that rescue has anyone for you.  Mic-I don't know what we could do but if you need DH and I to go visit a dog even just to check them out in a general way, that rescue isn't too too far.
