The Warm Fuzzy Game

Tamara- I appreciate your willingness to stay open minded and look at another angle to something. Instead of making assumptions, or harboring hurt and ill feelings, you made the conscious decision to look at things from another perspective.  I think that is a truly wonderful trait to have.

One of the biggest impressions you have made on me is your care for your cousins that you watch.

Wow, thank you Shelly. That's about the only good thing I've done in my life so far, and it really makes me feel better about it when other people notice and appreciate it. So thanks a lot. [:)]

Chelsea_b - I don't believe you [8D] Your dedication to your family and to your (sometimes challenging) dog are truly admirable. Plus you seem like a really neat person, so I'm looking forward to meeting you soon!

I agree with Cita... I am raising the "bs" flag on this one[:D].. and NOT that you are trying to spew "bs".. but just that you believe it to be true.

If someone were to ask me "what are the truly good things you have done in your 34 years on this planet Shelly?".. I would be hard pressed to name more than a couple.  Sometimes it is hard to see things like this from the inside.. and you need an "outsider" to show you all the good in yourself.

You should be most proud of your accomplishments and the positive role you have had in your cousins life, but I am POSITIVE that isn't the only good thing you have done.. and you have plenty more years of good to give![:)]

Purplepets- I appreciate your openness, open-mindedness and your rational thought on this board.  I have enjoyed quite a few serious threads that you have chosen to participate in and I think you set an excellent example for many.[:)]

Jessiesmom- You were one of the 3 ladies that helped me so much in the beginning of my idog time. Sharing your experiences and your kindness not only helped me to clear up a lot of JJ's allergy issues, but you Cathy and Callie are the folks who made me decide I wanted to stay here.   JJ and I both have a lot to thank you for!

Kelly (Sooner), the "link-queen", you've helped me out with your linking abilities so many times, even in posts to others. I've learned so much just from you alone, and I find it ironic that you mentioned me in your "warm fuzzies", because I'm sure that much of what I know about nutrition has come from links YOU posted. You also go around making wonderful signatures like it's your job (I still think mine's the best on the board [;)]), and I love looking at all the siggies and guessing which ones you made. They're usually the most creative and fun. And I'm so impressed every time I remember you have five big dogs, and realize how few "help me" posts you write. Come on, you're like Super Kelly, single-handedly ridding the world of homeless dogs! [:D

Aw, thank you so much Chelsea [:)] I have to laugh though, cause sometimes I look around my house and wonder WTH I was thinking [&:] - wouldn't change a second of it though [:)]

To everyone on i-dog, past and present - I've learned so much here, and my dogs' lives have benefited so much from all your expertise - so a huge THANK YOU from me and them.

georgie4682- You were one of the first people I ever pm'd with and you were so kind pming me to inquire about my greys. You are a lovely and caring woman and I wish you the best with your upcoming marriage!

Aw, Shelly, thanks. I get my sick, twisted sense of humor from my dad - it's genetic, just like the faulty organs and other body parts, LOL.

I would like to send out an all-encompassing Warm Fuzzy to all members, primarily because my mind is like a sieve and I am terrified to think that I may forget someone. Anyways, fuzzies for everyone - day in, day out, through good and bad, sickness and health, the family is always here for each other. That's a pretty powerful and awesome thing - such great minds, with such knowledge, just a few keystrokes away. Here's to more good times than bad, great pets, and good health...

Alright, I'll go out on a limb and name some names: on a more personal note, warm fuzzies to jjsmom, danehaven, Angelique, probe1957, Xerxes, Ixas_girl, glenmar, rwbeagles, sooner, janet_rose and Benedict - your assistance, behind the scenes or otherwise, kind words and support mean the world to me. And, if I forgot someone, warm fuzzies to you too, and just send me a Hate PM. [;)]

My favorite Christmas movie is "It's a Wonderful Life". Each person makes a difference. And I also like "Pay it Forward". And I have been guilty of hit-and-run chivalry (helping strangers on the side of the road and making my exit quickly). Thanks for reminding me of those things.

Another kudo for Shelley, for being the "healer" here.

Joyce (fuzzydogsmom)-  I always enjoy reading your posts and you provide valuable information on such a variety of topics.  Your comments are often quite thoughtful and you have a good sense of humor. I think in real life I would most enjoy your company.

    Shelly,

These past few months have taken us away from each other, and I regret that.  What began as an online friendship turned into one of the very best friendships I've ever had in my life.  You're unselfish with your time, optimism, devotion, and love for others.   When I think I'm failing Roxie as a good doggy daddy, you show me that I'm doing the best I can, which is just fine.  We've been through a lot, and you've always been a terrific and caring soul when I needed a "perk me up."  Thank you for being who you are, not only for me, but for everyone whose life you've touched by being their precious "Ang-Shel" ... [:)] ... I love you very much!
