Curse you chest (girly problem)!

FWIW I plan on getting a reduction. I have a hard time with hard impact sports, finding clothes that fit, and back trouble.

The reduction surgery scares the poop out of me. Besides I keloid on ingrown hairs so the scarring would be nightmarish for my body.  Regarding the impact sports - when I ride I double girth; I wear 2 Title Nine Sports 5 dumbell bras! They only go up to DD so they are too small, but I haven't been able to find an impact resistant bra in my size. Figleaves had one that I ordered but it was out of stock and I never re-ordered. I should look into that. Here's a good example of sex injustice: apparently 80% of equestrian athletes are women (from memory reading some thing), but in dressage you'll get docked points for jiggle. *shrug*

Wow there seems to be a good number of big-boobed women on here [:)]  I truly didn't know sizes went to F and G.....

I think my only hope is breastfeeding when we have kids to actually get something on front!!  I hate having such a small chest......  Seems no matter what you have you aren't happy, doesn't it?

Oh girl, they go higher than that! I know quite a few women who allege they're Ds and DDs but they wear bras that look like a little ball cap on a giant head (too small). No doubt they are up in the Fs and Gs too.

oh i LOVED my boobs when i started taking the pill.. it's just the damn things won't EVER stop growing... lol

    wants some of mine?

Oh, I'd love some!!!  Wish it were that easy.
And taking the pill certainly didn't do anything to mine... if anything, maybe it kept them from growing or something, lol.  I've been on many different forms of BC for about 4-5 years now with nothing changing there.

Don't be afraid of the surgery. You won't regret it and the scaring is next to nothing. You can't even tell on me anymore after 3 yrs. It's painful, very painful but it's worth it.

The scarring woudl be a real problem for me. I'm black and I keloid at the drop of a hat. The darker your complexion the higher risk of hypertrophic scars.

you sound like me.  I'm small boned, but have boobs!  Cannot ever find my size in stores like Target.

Why is it, that the bra designers think that because you are a small cup size (A or B), that the cups need to be basically just shells? Hello there, I need a full sized cup, not the little slings that they make in the 32/34 A and B's.

Oh, and what is with all the preformed, padded bras? Very little to none just bras. I hate to say it, but when your breast aren't equal in size, formed and padded DON'T work!

Ugh. I am with all of you, I HATE bra shopping!!!!

Lol Nicole...as a card carrying meber of the IBTC I can tell ya...I'd rather have mine than theirs [;)] I made peace with my boobs looong ago. I love them...they love me...we're best friends, as friends should be. lmbo...

I buy my bra's at VS, I stock up when they have sales because otherwise it's too expensive.

If you have any problems with bras, and you are anywhere near Intimacy...GO!!!!!!! [:D]

    Here's their link: http://www.myintimacy.com/

If you don't live near one, take some girlfriends on a weekend trip! It is SO worth it.

I could never find bras that fit...know why? I am a 29 1/2 D...guess who makes those? NO ONE! No wonder my bra didn't fit. I buy a 32 D (the smallest manufactured size) at Intimacy and I leave it to be altered...within 4 days, I have the right size bra (and no one can tell by looking that it's been altered).

They will fit you correctly, tell you the "science" behind the bra (ex: the band around your chest should be holding all the weight, not your straps...I can slip my straps off my shoulder, and my "girls" stay in place), how to care for it...AND!

    As if that wasn't enough:

There is a lifetime guarentee on your bra. Anything, and I do mean anything, that changes for the worse, send it back. It will be fixed. Everything from an underwire popping out to the band getting too streched out, they will fix it. I haven't had any problems, but my mom's bra lost stretchy-ness (she was wearing it wrong [8|]) and she got it back in two weeks, good as new.

My mom, sister, and I have all gone there and we are all so glad we did. My mom and sister can now buy the right size bra at other stores (because they know their size), and even tho I have to purchase the bra at Intimacy to have it altered there, it is worth it!

I'm here to make y'all jealous.

    I don't wear a bra.

I wear camisols with shelf bras in them.

I'm probably a 36B (maybe 38 who knows) and I subscribe to the rule "If you can't hold a pencil under 'em, you don't need a bra." Once upon a time I lamented my small chest (when I was younger and thinner and also before I went on the Pill, I had A's), until I got to be friends with a number of ladies in the D-DD range and hooboy. No thanks. I don't envy y'all at all.

Though I do envy women with boobs, whatever size, that actually match. One of mine is noticably bigger than the other. That freaks me out.

Paula, I'd much rather the scarring than the agony of having to hold "the girls" up day in and day out.  This isn't something I've come to lightly.  I'm kinda scared of hospitals, and deathly afraid of being put under anesthia and having some doc with a knife have at my body.  BUT I've been thinking about this since I was around 13/14 (I had huuuge boobs by then), and I'm 25 now and firmly decided its well worth it...scars and phobias and all.  But it's a personal choice indeed!

I heard the enell bra is a good heavy duty sports bra designed for larger chested woman.  It's a bit out of my price range at the moment (I barely have 30 bucks in my checking by the time I'm done with bill paying), but a number of large chested women swear by it.

I'd rather have no boobs, but with my hips I think I'd look odd below a "c" cup.  I'm jealous of woman who can go braless...and can find shirts that fit.  Since I'm not a plus sized gal, I have a hard time finding clothes that I can fit over my chest, but are not huge every where else.  I cannot tell you how many times I cry in dressing rooms [:(] because of this.  I don't want to seem like I totally hate my body though!  It's just frustrating.  And literally a pain in the neck!

    Sharon,

I know a couple of women who did the reduction, so you're not alone in your decision. It is not a step I'm willing to take, however.  BTW they both love the results.

Wear a jacket that's too big LOL.  Have you ever noticed that the judges are usually rich thin women who have no boobs and wear weird hats?
