I hate those stupid bows in the middle too!!! I always cut that crap off!

I like the bow, but I do hate floral designs.  I'm more of a solid color kind of girl.

    Let me tell you abouthttp://www.figleaves.com

    1. Pretty bras
    2. That come in all sizes
    3. That don't all have seams across the front that declare for all that you're wearing a bra.

I am a big girl - built a little like a saggy barbie. I am a 36G. No, there are no bras in the stores for me. No, Layne Bryant starts at 38 because they cater to all-round big girls.

Did you know most of us wear bras that are too small. I got fitted once at a corset shop. That middle part is supposed to be sitting on your breastbone. If it's floating  out in space then your cups are too small for your boobies. It's amazing how a well fitting bra feels: secure, no digging into your shoulders, and your back doesn't hurt because you aren't hanging your boobs off your shoulders.

    Trust me; figleaves.com.

I HATE shopping for bras!  I am allergic to lace so the really cute ones are out!  I cannot stand padded bras.  My girls are already bigger than I'd like!  40D's = [:'(]  I also don't like the underwire.  They aren't comfortable.  I see a bra that I like, only to find out that they do not make them in my size[>:]  Everything that is really cute seems to be made for smaller girls.

I wear 42DDs and I buy mine...at WallyWorld...for under $6.00!Yep, you heard me right!  They sort of look like sports bras (plain) but NO underwires.  I can NOT wear underwires becaue of fibromyalgia and my weird build--I end up with huge bruises on my ribcage. These things are awesome!

When I have some money (after the kids are gone) I will see about some pretty bras.  Right now, price and function win out over pretty!

I totally agree, why do most bras make your boobs pointy? Who in the world wants pointy boobs?

You guys are all too young to remember the '50s.  Pointy boobs were "The Style."  Women looked like they were hiding rocket nose cones under their blouses. [:D] If you get a chance, check out some of the TV sit-coms from that era.

oh god, i thought iwas the only one with bra problems!!

try living in the country of flat chested women woth boobs like mine! [:(]

i used to have small boobs and sometimes just opted for a tighter shirt instead of an ugly uncomfortable bra... now that i'm on the pill that is not an option anymore! i did go bra shopping a while back and bought some bras that looked humungous to me, but they actually fit! so yeah... buy bigger!
but now i have outgrown them AGAIN. gawd, will these things never stop growing... i'm falling over!

paula thanks for the figleaves link!  lane bryant does carry 36's now (or at least they do in my area).  I'm a 36/38 DDD/F (I usually opt for 36 since its a snugger fit).  These bras fit ok, at least I can breathe now...before I was cramming myself into D's because I refused to think I was any bigger.

FWIW I plan on getting a reduction.  I have a hard time with hard impact sports, finding clothes that fit, and back trouble.

I worked in the L'eggs Hanes Bali Playtex (Playtex makes bras and underware) Outlet during the college summers. We had to fittings all the time. It's better to know your size than to not know it. My best friend is a 36DD. She hated her bras. I measured her and found out she had been wearing the wrong size. I went to work and bought her an bunch of bras. She loved them! She especially loves minimizers. Both Playtex and Bali make excellent ones. Now she actually likes wearing bras and it way more comfortable now that she knows what size she's supposed to be wearing. So if any of you are really miserable wearing bras or think they are pointy... it honestly may have very little to do with the the design of the bra and more to do with the fact that you are not wearing the right size.  I really encourage you to get resized also especially if your weight fluctuates or if you recently have gained or lost a bit of weight. It will affect your cup size.

    Hope this info helps.

I have to say that after having boob surgery, I never have problems finding bras that fit. The most comfortable I've found was $14 racer back, front clapse from JC Penny. Love that bra.

Before the surgery....I hated bra shopping.

Wow there seems to be a good number of big-boobed women on here [:)]  I truly didn't know sizes went to F and G.....

I think my only hope is breastfeeding when we have kids to actually get something on front!!  I hate having such a small chest......  Seems no matter what you have you aren't happy, doesn't it?
