I don't believe that anyone would question that firefighters would rather save a life, canine, feline or human, over, say..... a sofa.

I don't believe that folks can't understand that a loose and terrified animal poses a real risk to the safety of the firefighters who often need to make a split second decision to "incapacitate" the dog for their own safety.

I can't believe that folks would rather have said terrified dog break through a window and running in terror, be hit by a car, lost in the woods, shot by a hunter.....or idiot......than "fall asleep" from smoke inhalation.

Wow..Getting a bit crabby are we? lol

I have no views on crating one way or the other,as long as the animal isn't lacked up for more than an appropriate amount of time..For myself,that would be the nightly sleep..If I had to leave the dog for the afternoon,then I would probably make a dog room.

As for a house fire,in the unlikely event that there was a fire,I would much rather have my dog have the opportunity to escape than wait for rescue.In a fire,every second counts..

I was told I should not bike with my dogs because I could get hit by a car,and the bike could get tangled to the car,dragging my dogs to their death if the car didn't stop...They made this sound like an every day occurance..lol

I don't believe I will get hit by the engine of a 747 the next time I walk out the door..I will be looking up though..[

* I do believe there is a definite clique on this forum, and an attitude which makes some feel attacked, targeted, and looked down upon.

* I do believe that some have an attitude of "let's ignore __________" because of an issue so and so had with _________ in the past, such as an argument, disagreement, etc, and others just follow in sync so they do not stand out.

* I do believe there are favorites on this forum.

* I don't believe that I'll continue posting on this forum since for the above reasons it has become much less enjoyable and more of a "watch your words or die" place instead of a nice pasttime.

* Understandably, I don't believe I will be missed.

Oh no! I would definitely miss you! For the last few days I've mostly been reading rather than posting (not sure why, lol). But I've been enjoying your responses on the Christianity thread. I'm also a Christian, although one who has struggled with belief and faith, but anyway I think you're a nice person with a lot to contribute to this forum!

Honestly, this thread from the start had the potential for some strong feelings based on the topics in the original post. In general I don't get into debates about those sort of things because they get heated very quickly!

I don't believe how often I see posts go unanswered where people are soliciting advice while posts that are 100% not looking for other opinions get pages of heated responses.
