Real Crocs vs. Knock-offs

    Real Crocs vs. Knock-offs

Is there really a big difference? I've only ever worn the fake ones, and I am not that impressed. However, I do like some of those jibbitz things they make for the real crocs, and I was debating with or not I should get some. So, the question is, are they really that much better? Should I get a pair?

I'm not super impressed with the real ones, either - mainly because they don't come in 1/2 sizes.  I wear a size 7 so the womens' small (sizes 5 - 7) is just a tad too small and rubs my toe  but the womens' medium (sizes 8 - 9) is way too big.  From now on if I buy any more, I'll just get the knock-offs.

For me, it's real crocs, or nothing. I even  have the flip-flops! I'm on my feet 12 hours or more, every single day, and I have orthopedic "issues". Crocs are the only shoes I'm remotely comfortable in.

Then again, I'm a freak[;)] Most shoes hurt my feet.

I tried on crocs in the mall for the first time yesterday. I really have to get some. I can't stand wearing regular shoes and socks because my feet get really hot and swollen (especially this time of year) but my flip flops make me pretty sore.

I just got crocs mary janes.  They are comfy.  I have been told that the fake ones are cheap for a reason and that they don't do the same no smell and forming to your foot as the real crocs.

Also, keep in mind they should fit loosely.  You can print a size chart at crocs.com.

Aren't they mega hot?  I would think your feet would sweat in them (and haven't even tried them on).

Ok, I guess i've gotta go get a pair tomorrow. All of my sandals keep rubbing my feet. I replaced my old ones with a new pair. They're the exact same as the ones I used to have, but i've got a raw spot around where the strap bends back on to itself.

I got my first pair last winter and absolutely LOVE them!  I have never worn the cheap ones but I suspect they are just a know off and not as good.  I was looking at the ballet slippers, the flip flops, the maryjanes and the wedges today at Dillards and almost got some but I had already made a lot of large purchases today and felt too guilty to spend another dime!  Maybe next weekend.  I have been wanting a pair for summer for awhile.

I will say, they suck in the winter when it's raining but that is the only time.  Next year I plan to get the ones with no holes for winter.

I so want the reals ones!

I have a pair of $5 knock offs that I bought to just wear around the house and ended up wearing them everywhere. BF has the real ones and when I put my feet in his I can really tell the difference. If they didn't cost so much I would get me some real ones. I really don't care how funny I may look in them I just think they are so comfortable.

    What are crocs?
What are you guys talking about?

LOL, Rebecca, do you live under a rock? [:D] They're only the trendiest, ugliest shoes on the planet (okay, so I totally want some if they're as comfy as everyone says, but you have to admit they're ugly as SIN).

I love my Crocs. It's hard to go back to 'real' shoes after you've worn Crocs!

I bought a pair for my Mom and Dad. I converted them! They love them too.

They're soooo comfy and practical! I wear them until it gets too cold out, then I switch to my Uggs.

A lot of my fashionable friends give me crap for wearing them, but I don't care! I think any nay-sayers just haven't tried them.

They're perfect shoes for doing dog yard stuff. I can hose off my feet while still wearing them.

My son had the Disney Crocs and he seems to like them I flat out refuse to wear them the are just to fugly for me. I love my Nike sandels and will continue to wear them, but for kids I would defiantly suggest them, his feet will smell if he doesnt have good foot wear and they dont in these.

I do like some of those jibbitz things they make for the real crocs

I heard from a relative on mine that a housewife in Texas created those things and sold the patten for something like a million dollars. I kinda like them but at one store in the mall I saw those jibbitz being sold for almost the same price as the shoe.
