NO NO NO NIBBLING!!!!!! NO NO!!  *check your aftercare sheet, if they gave you one.*  if they didn't give you one, this is a pretty general one:

Alright so no nibbling.  I got an aftercare sheet that is almost identical to your link.  How long before nibbling is allowed?  (Please don't say 4-8 weeks [sm=crossfingers.gif])

sorry, sweet pea, i'm going with the professionals on this one- 4-8 weeks minimum.  HOWEVER, the difference between 4 and 8 weeks is really quite substantial.  it really depends on you.  since you're young and healthy, you might heal faster.  use the healings of your other piercings as an indicator.

ALSO- taking a zinc supplement or applying zinc cream topically can help to speed healing.  if you plan to apply it topically, though, i would wait at least 2 weeks.

How did I know you were going to say that?

I'm so disappointed right now.  I can't belive that I get new toys & now they can't be played with for 4-8 weeks.[&o]

On the upside, my other piercings healed really quickly.  I actually have a zinc supplement at home, so I will start it tomorrow.

WOW! The 4-8 week thing was longer than I thought.. damn.. sorry to hear that Amanda. [&o]

SO I wanna start that thread Amanda, but not sure how to do it without it going into an "R" rating... [8|]

Go ahead & start it.  Just put a warning on the subject line.  I will try to water mine down for a PG-13 rating if at all possible.  I will exclude to XX rated ones completely, although they are usually the funniest.[&o]

everyone else puts "light adult" warnings.... why shouldn't you??[;)]

Okay, ya'll are killing me here!  My hubby read this thread when it first started and he is now saying "why don't you get that done?"  Eeekkk!  No way!  I couldn't injure my Ta-Tas like that!  It just seems too painful!  I'd rather give birth again!  My sis told me to get my navel done but I have strict rules about that( too fat and don't want more attention to that part of my body)  Ya'll have fun with the piercings!

[sm=evilfire.gif]c'mon, now Bullymom!  join us, join us[sm=devil.gif]

if you learn nothing from this thread, learn that it doesn't hurt as much as you would expect, and that your man will love it, and YOU will love it even more.  trust me!

Bullymom, You really should do it!!!  It really didn't hurt & the cleaning is not to bad either.

your man will love it, and YOU will love it even more.

Since we haven't got to "test drive" them yet, I can't attest for that.  I can say that when I fell asleep last night the BF was sitting there staring at them & when I woke up this morning he was in the same position still staring.

My ears are pierced. I used to wear guitars in them. Or studs. Then a celtic hoop (small). But I haven't worn an earring in quite some time.

i have to post this, because i'm pretty proud of it- it took me a LOT of time, and a little pain, to get these in, but i love them!  they're what i've been working towards for years.  maybe i'm done now....

ETA it's about the size of my pinky around
    • Gold Top Dog
    Cool!

Can I post pics of my new piercings?  I came home to see my Tatas set as the background on my computer!

    • Gold Top Dog
somehow i think that violates some rule somewhere....

and i would be pretty tripped out to see my boobies as a background... LOL
