Missing members thread!-HKDog, et al

I would ask that all members keep the following in mind before proceeding further with this thread.

Different posters are likely to express different opinions, and while they may differ from yours, everyone is entitled to express theirs freely. We will not tolerate rudeness, insults or personal attacks. Do not disrespect, taunt, bother, bug or flame anyone, either on the forum or via private messages or email.
 
7.)     If you have a problem or complaint about the forum in general, or with another member, please either fill out a ticket or address it directly to the administrators or moderators. They will evaluate the situation and execute the proper actions.
 
We ask that members keep in mind that membership to this forum is a privilege, NOT a right. As a private forum, the administrator and moderators have total say as to which members are, and are not allowed. The same rule applies for posts and threads; anything deemed to be inappropriate, as defined by these rules, will be removed, and the violators will be disciplined accordingly.

Don't tell anyone.  Joel is a fairly active member of the forum.  I have given him my entire series of "Kinder and Gentler" lessons.  How do you think he is doing?  []

I have to agree 100%.  I'm reading this long after the fact, too ... but you know your dog better than anyone else.  As long as you feel that you are doing the best for your dog, why should you get upset  because someone disagrees or does something differently?  We all have bad days, but this is sort of like a two year old stamping his little foot and throwing a tantrum.  As I've often said to my two, even as adults, "If  you don't want to be treated like a child or spoken to like a child, then stop acting like one."

I was there and I still have the emotional memory but lost the memory of the actual words.  You had to have read Sheprano's post prior to it being edited.  The closest I can get to relating Sheprano's experience was the time when the forum created the Puppies for Sale categories.  Remember the outrage and the reaction of members?  More importantly remember how outraged members were treated?

DPU?  I'm curious about your perception of how the outraged members were treated?  I started an "email Joel Patterson" campaign and I left no doubt in anyones mind that I was astonished and outraged and ready to walk.  I was treated with respect, and probably far more than I deserved because I was majorly po'd and did not mince words in my private correspondence.
 
Sorry, this is totally off topic, but I'm curious, because I imagine that Personal Champ would be happy to tell you what a royal PITA I was.

EXACTLY!  If only Sheprano was treated as you were and not dismissed 3 times.  See what a difference it makes. 

I wasn't involved in the thread everyone is talking about so I can't say "oh yeah, I remember the emotions".
 
My question to you however, was what was your perception of how us irate folks were treated when the classifieds were introduced?

With courtesy and an acknowledgement and understanding of the irate members rage. 
 
If that approach was used with Sheprano, she would still be here.
