There's even a Dog Lovers team on there. But be warned, there are a lot of very unknowlegeable people there. I get very very very frustrated. Example: a lady came on there to announce that her mixed dog was going to have puppies with another mixed dog and she was so excited about it. but what should she do now that her dog was pregs? And guess what the majority of responses was? Oh Congratulations! Puppies are so cute! you'll know what to do when the time comes. Mommy dogs do it all themselves... [:@] Most are very open to change though so thats good.

Now I got the cravings for a breakfast burrito now looks like I'm going to finally make breakfast tomorrow.

I make or I have my mom bring them home from work is breakfast sandwich  all it is eggs, meat (bacon, sausage, or ham) with cheese on top between two hamburger buns. Yummy and easy to transport.

[&o]Bradley.. that was VERY unfair.. I LOVE Carbonara.. it is my favorite of all pasta dishes actually and it is so darn rich that I always take half of it home and then have the other half for breakfast the next morning .. it is the BEST breakfast meal ever!

We go to a place for brunch sometimes that has this incredible pasta dish for breakfast:

    pan-fried linguini, 10.50
romas, fresh basil, feta cheese and black pepper scrambled w/two eggs

It is to die for. SO thanks Bradley.. now all I can think about while I am eating my lowfat and healthy yogurt, fruit and granola parfait is that I REALLY want pasta right now..lol!  Somehow I think it will be MORE calories than my 500 calorie bagel!    [;)]

Wow, it's kind of hard to enjoy a cup of light yogurt when you're thinking about something like this, or carbonara, which is also a fave of mine [8|]

our italian teacher described spaghetti carbonara to us in class once. i thought it sounded kinda gross... a raw egg on top of pasta?

but i tried it when we got to florence. maybe it was jet lag, maybe it was because we were starving that night, but man that was some good stuff! [:D]

Shelly, I just have to say that I think eating breakfast is one of the most important factors in weight loss. I lost 40 pounds about a year ago (well, over several months of course, but it's been off for almost a year), and in the weeks I didn't eat breakfast, I didn't lose weight, or as much weight, even if I was still exercising, controlling calories, etc. Another thing I noticed helped me a lot was having a food cut-off time. 7:30 was last-call. I didn't allow myself to eat anything after 7:30. I don't think there's really anything different about the time of day except that when I binge, I tend to do it late at night. Right before bed, I go to the fridge and pig out if there's anything to do so with.

Of course I also ate fewer calories and exercised regularly, but I think breakfast and having a cut-off time really helped me.

I don't have any breakfast suggestions though. When I was losing weight, I usually ate one of those Powerbar Harvest bars or whatever. They're good, but not so good that I'd want more than one, pretty filling for 250 calories, plus quite portable.

If I'm in a real hurry, sometimes I just grab one of the Knudsen Cottage Doubles.  It's a small divided  bowl with cottage cheese in the bigger side and either strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, peach or pineapple in the smaller side so you can just stir the fruit into the cheese.  They don't look very big, but they're surprisingly filling.

WOW Chelsea.. CONGRATS to you!  Very well done, you should feel very proud of yourself![sm=clapping%20hands%20smiley.gif]

There is actually so much research out there on how eating breakfast actually can assist you with weight loss.. so that is good, maybe it will help contribute to mine. [:)]

My biggest problem is that on days I am actually hungry and want breakfast, I end up making bad food choices[&o].. so I just need to get into a routine of NOT allowing myself to do that.
