How many pets...

    • Gold Top Dog
We have Tyson, a Green Iguana, an Argentine Boa, 5 Leopard Geckos, and 2 African Fat Tailed Geckos
    • Gold Top Dog
1 dog (bloodhound), 2 cats (domestic longhair), 40 gallon tank of fish, 5 budgies, various toads, frogs and lizards (work in a greenhouse and there are always reptiles that come in with the plants).
    • Gold Top Dog
    just one diggity dog.
    • Gold Top Dog
Ok lets see, 1 horse, 1 dog, 5 fish, and 1 rabbit. We are suposed to be getting a snake or something. so if i count the snake, that makes 9. we used to have 10 or 11.
    • Gold Top Dog
We have Max and Georgie, 2 guinea pigs, a betta, and 2 saltwater aquariums, a 50 gallon and a 20 gallon. We're currently in the process of moving the fish from the 20 to the 50. Whether or not we keep the 20 up after, I don't know.
I also have a corn snake, but she lives on campus right now as our class pet in my teaching science course. My mom cannot find out I have her, so I'm not sure if she's going to come home at the end of the semester or go to a friend's, but I'm leaning towards sneaking her home.

Gosh, we hardly have any compared to most of you guys! It's just 2 dogs and one 9'' long goldfish.
    • Gold Top Dog
    Think I can beat you.

    One dog and one cat.

Just think of the money that I can spend for treats and toys having only two pets.
    • Gold Top Dog
The good thing with most of my pets is that they don't really require too many toys...and they toys they do have are usually around $2-$5.  Much cheaper than dog toys!  As for treats, they don't get treats.  The bunnies get veggies for treats, the chinchilla gets 1 raisin per day, and the gliders get fruits or mealworms.  No fun treats like the dogs get!

My rats get table scraps, because I don't eat much in the way of processed anyway.  And, if I put gravy on Teddy's food and he doesn't finish, then they get that so it doesn't go bad.  Basically, I use them as a garbage disposal.  They love it.  And it's way cheaper than standard "treats."
    • Gold Top Dog
5 dogs, 3 cats, 2 giant fish ( one of them is a chinese algea eater, which looks like a stingray), 1 cute bunny......[;)]
    • Gold Top Dog
Just the 5 furries in my signature - 2 puppers, 3 cats. I have had Betta fish, but don't currently have one.
    • Gold Top Dog
Just two dogs here!  Sugar is a Sheltie X about 6-7 yrs. and rescued!  Bandit is an English Shepherd about 1 year 5 months.
    • Gold Top Dog
just gus...but i am trying to talk dh into another doggie....we will see!!!!
    • Gold Top Dog
    Right now we have...

    5 dogs
    1 cat
    2 ferrets
    10 rats
    6 chickens
    1 betta

Back when I was doing rescue and breeding (yeah, I did both ) I had anywhere from 20-70 rats at any given time. I did NOT enjoy having that many and the number I have now is nice and comfy. While I'm not an official breeder anymore, I plan on doing about one litter a year just to continue my lines....they're too great to let go. So, the number of rats I have fluctuates quite a bit.
