• mondayblues Posted : 3/2/2007 3:25:17 AM I have the Blistex that comes in a purple tube, not the medicated kind. (I think that's the one in the green tube?) The texture is really good, and I love that it has SPF 15. I agree, Blistex is very good, but I was looking to try another kind. • houndlove Posted : 3/2/2007 12:01:00 PM Anything with petroletum (petrolium jelly, mineral oil, whatever--it's all the same stuff and you can probably guess by the name where it actually comes from: the oil that comes out of the ground) dries your skin. It feels great going on, but the reason people get "addicted" to lip balms is because they actually dry your lips out over time, not moisturize them.
