now for the best series of commercials ever.... terry tate, office linebacker! i wish our office had one! "dont bring that weak a$$ $hit up into this humpty-bumpty!" ...."the pain train is coming!"... funny stuff!

I also HATE that toenail ad, I also dont't like the one where the "crud" goes into the lungs and gets run out by cough medicine--trouble is, that is great stuff, but hate the ad. Used it before we ever saw ad. Nor do like the ones "Are you gelling?"

My husband and I have a laugh at the toenail one..there's a CG woman at the end looking happy and I always say "they couldn't find a REAL person willing to pretend they had those ugly things under their toenails"...lmao...

This commercial drives me nuts. What the heck are they teaching l ittle kids to act like in the house.I suppose it is because i am so old, but when I see commercials like this, or shows like the old Roseanne where adults and kids were sitting at the table flipping food at each other, it sets my teeth on edge. this kind of thing gives the impression that this kind of conduct is okay

i can think of far worse things that kids could be doing. when my girls are older, this type of spontaneous-good spirited-out of control- moment will be a more than welcome thing, on a limited basis of course, family life is not as serious as it once was folks, i for one am glad.

back on topic....i hate the dr.scholls insert commercial, "im gellin like Magellen". what a nerdy commercial [:'(]

Oh, gosh yes, yet another annoying commercial! Now for dumb ones, Geico takes the cake these days. The first ones with the "gekko" (I believe it's really an anole) were cute, and I love the ones with the squirrels, but these new ones are "dumber than dirt".

I rarely see commercials anymore, thanks to TiVo, but the last series I remember hating was for a yogurt (Yoplait, I think?) where two women are comparing how good the yogurt is and keeping saying more ridiculous things, one after the other. "This is "blah, blah, blah" good.", 'No, it's "blah, blah, blah, good!" trying to top each other. I'm not sure why I hate them so much but they just make me cringe!

oh, that reminds me, the activia yogurt commercial with the college girls whining about being bloated. hahaha, horrible.

OK - I saw one last night that totally grossed me out. I was up late and of course, had to check out HGTV before I went to bed. They showed a commercial with a very elderly gray haired lady in the kitchen making tea - she pours two cups as her husband slowly makes his way into the kitchen. She hands him a cup, they kiss ... then smile at each other. She has totally enormous teeth in a rather small mouth and he has tiny, little teeth in a big mouth. The commercial turns out to be for a label maker so they can label things "his" and "hers" .... because they are obviously wearing each others' teeth. Barf. Yuck. Gag.

Another ad that annoys me is the Pepsi ad they air during football games with stock footage of old games, and they dub in dialogue about how much they all want a Pepsi or who stole whose Pepsi... I don't know why it irks me so much but I hate it.

Yeah, completely agree with you on that one. I was cracking up the first time I saw it. My mom said they were trying to brainwash ppl, lol.

DH and I are getting super sick of the "this is our country" Chevy ad that runs every break during football. It isn't so bad as much as ENOUGH ALREADY!!!
