Ugly Dog

• Ugly Dog magilacudy Posted : 7/25/2006 2:48:41 PM Yesterday my husband and I were out and some people were taking their dog for a walk. He says "That is one ugly dog". He never said it to where they could hear him, but I don't think I would ever say outloud "that is an ugly dog" I may think it at times, but I would never say it. I know people have their preference, and that is fine by me, but I have seen some ugly dogs and it makes me wonder if the people get them just because they are ugly. Because I'm sorry, this one type of dog, there is no way you could look at it even as a pup and say "oh she is so cute" because there is just no chance.   So I was wondering who is brave enough to say that they have seen an ugly dog? []    Anyway, just like with humans, it's what's on the inside that counts. So even though a dog may be a little on the ugly side, if he has a great personality, it shouldn't matter! And yes both myself and my wife quite often comment to each other about the appearence of other breeds out loud.   I'm sure there are people that think my dog is ugly and probably say so to their friends, its there opinion. The appearence of a dog is a personal thing, thats why there are so many breeds, different strokes for different folks.
