• brookcove Posted : 5/26/2006 6:21:30 PM Strangely enough, the host of the sheepdog trial we'll be attending this weekend (Memorial weekend) has MS.  I wish I could donate some in his honor right now but for sure when Patrick gets paid next week - it will be well before the deadline.  The host of the Carolina Sheepdog Championship is Dr. Ben Ousley.  He was diagnosed about seven or eight years ago now, I think.  It amazes me that he runs that huge three-day event, feeds everyone two GREAT dinners, and smiles all weekend long even when the nervous novices don't exactly treat his sheep with the best stockmanship skills.  And he still trains and handles dogs and runs a veterinary clinic.  Makes me feel pretty silly when I whine about a sore knee. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
