2006 MS WALK

Hmmmm, how do we make this show up in the tree??

Things have slowed down, so I'll just be shameless and bump this thread up myself!

I am now at $710, so almost halfway to my $1500 goal.
 
I know that I've sent out the "recipe" at least 150 times over the past several months.  I know that I've helped folks out on and off the board, and if all those folks would just pledge $10 each, I'd be there in no time at all.  The MS folks give prices for different fund raising levels.  DH and I don't take the prizes, but allow the money they are worth to be donated back to them.  So, honestly, all I get out of whatever you guys donate is a few extra blisters and a really good warm feeling knowing that by walking I MAKE A DIFFERENCE. 
 
So, I dont' have any problem nagging!![]

I live just south of Alpena , and north of Oscoda in a small town no one has heard of. We  have one blinking red street light in town just to let you know how small it is.

Because MS is a combination of genetic weakness AND environmental exposure, states like MI that have chemical plants and a big Ag industry have a HIGH incidence of MS.  I found that to also be true in WV.
 
I walk for those who cannot walk.  And for those who someday, without a cure being found, may not be able to walk.  I walk in hopes of raising enough money to help to find a cure.  And I would love to see that cure found in time to HELP those people who are heading towards the wheelchair now.
 
I'm passionate about this, as I am about animal causes and battered women.  And when one has a CAUSE like this, well, one need to feel no shame in begging and reminding!
 
My deepest and sincerest thanks to everyone who has pledged so far.  You guys have gotten me to a whooping 50% of my large goal!
 
For the rest of you who are gonna pledge, or who are thinking about pledging...nag, nag, nag......no amount is too small.

Well, here I go nagging and begging again.

Since my DH has CMT and I suspect my daughter of inheriting it  I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing this.  Maybe one of these days a cure will be found thanks to people like you.
