• Mic Posted : 3/27/2006 11:46:43 AM I just finished with the eye specialist and there has been improvement to the eye.  The light sensitivity is decreasing, and I only have to have the meds administered once and hour (as opposed to every 15 minutes...that was annoying).  So things are looking up.   As far as the face around the eye.  Some punctures under the chin and across the cheek.  I have had much worse bites...I just don't want my sight to be affected.    Chicks dig scars...but I don't know if they dig blind guys.  0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. And I thought that it was painful when I had a tiny hair-splinter in my eye that the doctors had to go in and remove.   Don't let them give you stitches on the punture wounds- they won't heal right and are more prone to get infected! One of my grooming buddies got bit in the wrist by a chow 10 years ago and they did stitches (not by a plastic surgeon btw) and she still has a scar.  I hope you have a patch over your eye so you don't move it so much- I had that after recovery from my (very minor compared to this) husky-hair-removal.   Just out of curiosity- what kind of dog was it- and what will happen to it? If you're not allowed to say, that's fine.
