He will be sorely missed. I also feel sorry for his wife and children. Especially his little boy who will never know his father other than in documentries.
That's so true, and so sad. However, if I may look at a silver lining, a lot of children who lose parents to illness or injury before getting a chance to know them are not so lucky. They have to learn about the parent in question through stories and photographs. This little boy will have well over a decade's worth of TV programs to watch, in which he will be able to see, hear and watch his father, learn his mannerisms and his voice, and be inspired by his dad's natural ability with animals. Not all children will inherit such a legacy from a parent.
