Welcome Wednesday - Banter

Was icy here this morning but by the time I was leaving the biggest problem was downed tree limbs. I'm ready for Spring.

We were originally planning on trying to sell/move this year, but now with the stuff going on at work, we're gonna do more of a "wait and see" .  Maybe we'll get some more stuff fixed up before we list it, but since home projects keep getting bumped off DH's priority list, I'm not feeling positive.

Actually, feeling rather grumpy, I think that means its time for some chocolate...

I think we all need some of Tracy's Snickers bars :)

I've got a meeting with the pet shop group after work and as usual, I really just want to go home. We found out that San Diego got the 2nd sponsor spot for a store, so that was disheartening to hear. We'll talk about it today and see if anyone has ideas to move things along.  Sure would be nice to know a rich dog lover who'd be willing to help us out.

There are a few mini-Snickers left in my drawer to share with you guys.  I ate several, but not all of them today!

Nice to see you, Cathy!  We've missed hearing from you.  I'm sorry to hear the news of the pet shop spot . . . as we often say on our fundraising committee, doesn't anyone have a personal connection to a dog-loving celebrity?  Surely Ellen could spare a couple hundred thousand dollars, right?!

Nice to see you, too, Steph!  The decision to move/sell or stay put can be daunting.  It never feels like the exact right time.  Again, if a rich benefactor could be found, then the decision would be easier!

Happy belated Gotcha Day to Rocky -- sorry you're dealing with crummy weather, too, Ginger.  Hope the worst of your conversion at work is behind you.

I think I am in good shape on my To Do List now . . . tomorrow SHOULD be an easier day.  ****knocking wood*****

    Belated happy gotcha day Rocky!

Wow, I was really pleased with snow angels today.  First the plow driver, and then the neighbor.  We have a lot between us and his house, and he always snow throws all the way to our driveway, which is great.  This evening he went all the way past the house and to the corner so we don't have that to do!  All we'll have to do is the walkway and steps up to the house for the mail lady.....who THANKED me this morning since she claims we are the first people to live here to actually make it easy for her to deliver the mail!

our weather is very up and down. 38* and raining yesterday and this morning. It cleared off late on and was low 50's. Lots of rain ahead, potential for ice & snow in the days to come. pne day is suppose to be mid-60's.  It is vetting lighter in the evenings and that boosts my mood. I rarely get to see daylight :(

On a happy note, I arranged to leave early today and met a friend to take B for a LONG walk. He behaves perfectly when we are gone but he is SO amped up after a few days of being home alone that I knew he needed it. And oh my did he need it lol.

He was trying to fly down to the fields and once released he ran like a wildman. Then we walked to the area that has lake access and he & his lab friend  just had a blast.. After playing in the water she rolled in everything possible and zoomed like a fool. Happy dogs make for happy humans.

Sadly i dont know anything about your TV shows Cathy & Jackie.

    Happy gotcha day Rocky!!
