Wednesday chat

OK, please don't tell my family members the iDog cards were top priority this year. (They often don't get their Christmas cards until at least Valentine's Day.) Smile

Such sad news about the senior dog, the cat and more. I hope there's a family looking for a retired Lab.

Willa must have been listening to a discussion before our faculty meeting today. We were talking about the "challenges" some of us faced in school trying to take "boys' " classes--I took wood shop (with 2 other girls) a million years ago, but we weren't allowed to use the power tools, because we "might hurt ourselves." So, they gave us the carving tools instead!?!? The girls who wanted to play ice hockey were in the same boat--it just "wasn't done."

Have fun at the show, Tracy!  I've loved every Springsteen show I've been to--well worth the exhaustion the next day.

Cathy that is so horrible about the 2 dogs :( i hope you boss's dog pulls through ok

Jackie, ugh what a terrible way to start the day. I hope things got better as the day went on

Karen, you will do fine, but I agree with the person who said "order pizza" lol

    Poor willa. How heartbreaking.

I am frozen. It is cold out. Usually it doesnt feel that bad if it is over 25* but so far this year I feel like a wuss. I swear my cheeks felt frost bit tonight and it is 30 (was at sar training all night).

We were training at a car salvage yard tonight and abbie jumped up in the bed of a pick up truck and bark alerted. She was adament there was scent there and when I told her to show me she stuck her nose under the bench seat that was laying in the back then looked back at me and barked. Obviously there was no live person there but she has never ever lied to me. We are thinking someone either died or bled on that bench seat (the truck had been totaled in an accident of some sort). Creepy! But we have found suicide remnants (the shop confirmed) in the yard before so it has been know to happen.

    Brrr.

Oh, I am putting abbie on prescription royal canin for her anal gland issues. Hopefully that will help. I am sure it is going to cost a fortune. When I told my vet I was thinking of just giving her purina or something she goes omg no! Your search dog will die!! I couldn't help but laugh. My vet is quite the food snob.
