I have been waking up with a splitting headache for the past week and I can't figure it out.

Not to be an alarmist, but the daily headache can be a sign of something more serious. Please don't ignore it if it keeps continuing. My co-worker from the track who was thought to have had an aneurysm 10 days ago found out she had a stroke instead. She has unresolved bleeding on the brain that has temporarily stopped, but it looks as if she'll be hospitalized for a few months. It all started with a headache as the only symptom.

I love "Breaking Bad", but admit I must borrow the dvds from the library since I am behind a season.

I'm gonna agree with Tina here.  Wasn't Charles complaining of headaches before he ended up in emergency surgery?  Yes, it could be something as simple as sleeping wrong and straining a muscle, but it could be something bigger and badder and it's not a good idea to play Russian roulette with something like that.

Lisa, have a wonderful vacation.  Please enjoy the slowed down relaxation for me for at least a nano second!  And, maybe a little warm sand squishing between the toes.

i've got another incredibly busy day today and all of it on the road.  Hope everyone has a great day.

Sorry about your daily morning headache, Julie.  Headaches can be a symptom of so many different things (some serious and some not) it's hard to know when to go in and when to just grin and bear it. 

The tile is looking fantastic. :)  They're going to have to remove ten of them that they screwed up.  This tile is very variegated in color and it's got to be mixed up or you get some really dark areas or really light.  In front of the door, they've laid ten tiles that are all very light in color and they stand out like a sore thumb.  It's no big deal and hopefully won't delay things too much.  I can't wait to have the house back to normal.  Right now we have a lot of stuff crammed in the two bedrooms.  We feel like we could be on an episode of Hoarders. :(  The dogs are all like "where's my bed or crate or most importantly "where are the couches!!!". lol  

One of my best friends is coming to visit next week and I'm so excited to see her and her JRT, Chigger. :)  

Saturday we've got tickets to see Vince Gill.  DH isn't thrilled but I think he'll enjoy it once he acutally see's him perform.  If not, tough. lol  Dock diving is also this weekend and I hope to go watch some either Saturday or Sunday. 

 Julie the headaches could be sinuses (as Karen wakes up with a headache 3rd straight day) or may be your ear issues.  Does aspirin or NSAID help? That may help determine the cause

Jackie did they get all the same production number tile (can't recall the real term ) but I learned the hard way when we tiled our kitchen in England. There are 'run' numbers on each box so within the same tile you need to match the same 'run' number of you will get the sort of variation that you've got. Some variation is normal but 10 in the same area sounds like it could be a mismatched box.

And yea for a fun weekend ahead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And hey Chigger!! Very glad you are getting a visit!

Yes, we bought the tile ourselves and made sure all the boxes were the same lot number.  There is a lot of variation even with the same lot number which is why we talked with the tile installers about taking tiles from five different boxes as they grab tiles so you don't get one area that is all the same.  Gosh, don't they watch HGTV? lol

Morning all. We had a great night at The Ballpark last night watching the Rangers. Unexpected tickets my hubs got from a co-worker so free makes it even better HAH! Lily got a foul ball...which of COURSE happened when I took the boy to shop at the team store for a T-Shirt! Dad was with her tho he missed the grab since he was looking around for where the ball bounced to try and protect Lily...he said when he looked back over at her, she had the ball in her hand! LOL! Elias was thrilled with his shirt and insisted on wearing it to school today...apparently he told his classmates he was going so he was happy to take back some proof. LOL! Its cool he told them, social stuff like that is not always a given with him.

Tomorrow is the meeting to authorize Eli's re-assessment. It'll be just me since arranging a time when all the necessary personnel from the school side AND my husband's work schedule was pushing the date out to end of Sept, I opted for sooner rather than later. Hopefully it won't freak me out too much. I think it's mainly just paperwork to authorize things. But still, bit of nervousness going on there.

I love to watch tile go down...its magical LOL! Reno's in general...when done in a professional expedient manner are always fascinating to watch :)

Julie, wishing you no more headache vibes :)  I rarely have headaches myself but occasionally when there is a front coming thru I will have morning headaches. 

Jackie tell Charles if he is not "thrilled" I will take his ticket .  I understand he does a great concert so you should both have a great time.  Take tissues tho there is no one that can sing me to tears like that man.
