I took Shane for a walk this morning and 3 different people stopped us to say how pretty Shane is
Jen (and Cita) - I hope you both have the kind of luck with allergy shots that my ex did. He was absolutely miserable before starting them and after about a year, you'd never have known he had any allergies at all. He was able to stop getting them completely after about 3 yrs.
I just started mine in June, so nothing is really happening yet with mine. I'm hoping it works, because I am sucking up a big fear of needles to do this.
A person I went to high school with contacted me a few weeks ago about walking with a meetup group I am in. Anyway, I picked her up, we went, and she's been to a few other things. We weren't that friendly when we were in school, we were facebook friends prior (that's how she contacted me). Now she's trying to chat with me everyday like we're great friends. Really, I'm not that friendly, I don't want to be that friendly, and I don't need any new friends. I'm not going with the group tonight because Luke has weight pulling, so now she's asking me about that. She better not want to go there. I'm not taking her. Well, my car is a mess today. I started cleaning it today, but I just left the stuff to come inside in the passenger seat, and didn't vacuum yet. Next week, it'll be Callie's turn, so I think I might have both dogs with me, so Luke can go to open gym afterwards. So, no room for extras.
I wish I could be in the roller derby. They're showing it on TV right now. Nobody tell me I can do it, because I actually can't. My right leg is turned out, all the way up to the hip. You can't skate with your leg turned out, and I can't keep it turned straight for too long without it hurting like all hell.
My grandpa sent me a birthday card, but he didn't actually send anything. Usually he'll send me some money. I hope this was an oversight. Not like I can call him and tell him though. I can't call someone up and say, "hey, thanks for the card, but I was expecting a check in there." Oh well. I didn't need the money, and I never plan for money of that sort. If I get it, it's just a nice extra to have.
