My coworker/friend was here today with her little dog, Elvis. Elvis is about 1/10th the size of Shane but you'd never know it to watch them interact. Shane wants so badly to play and Elvis wants no part of it and when she (yes, Elvis is a girl) chases him off, Shane almost hurts himself trying to run and hide. Within minutes though, he's back and begging again. So cute and now Shane is so tired Big Smile

ETA - I LOVE guacamole!! I could seriously eat it every single day and on anything. Yum is right.

Maybe something is not showing up on my computer, but I could not see anything graphic about Glenda's post.

I should probably give warnings every time I post, because I feel like I'm potentially offensive to someone at all times.

I went to the fair, (yay funnel cake!). I was wearing a shirt, actually, I am still wearing it right now, that says WTF, and under it, it says What's The Function? It's a behavior analysis shirt. The parking attendant asked what the last word was. She was pretty relived to hear what it was, but she actually thought I was young enough that my mom (who I was with) could have done something if it had said a different F word.

There was a pretty cool trick dog show, Mutts Gone Nuts. My niece seemed to like it, as did all the kids. Even though I know how they trained all of it, and I know they specifically trained the dogs to make the "mistakes" it was still pretty cool. They also talk about how they train the dogs to do that stuff, show a bit of a demo of how to teach your own dog to catch frisbees, and they talked about how they train the dogs to do the tricks. They also talk about checking into what type of dog you are getting at first, so you don't get a dog that is too much for your household. All the dogs in the show are rescued. A little Border Collie mix in the show got returned 4 times to the shelter before they got her, because she's destructive if she's not active enough. Hopefully at least one family in the audience got the part about getting an appropriate dog for your home.

Marty, apparently my post on 4/15 was offensive.  I went back to find it and  didn't see anything terribly graphic, but apparently others were offended.

Glenda - I haven't seen anything posted that I found offensive. (((Hugs)))

The wind has kicked up and although it's still very hot, it feels cooler. Shane is konked after his day with lots of visitors.

    Thanks Cathy.

I was actually a little too cool coming home tonite.  Tonite was part of the concert series that Todd's stations do alllll summer and it was his nite to host .  I was awfully glad that I wore capri's instead of shorts, and a top with short sleeves!

That's my "summer attire" here in Oregon about 98% of the season, Glenda.  An outdoor concert would require a light sweater most evenings!

Jen, when I first read what your T-shirt said, it made me think of the old Schoolhouse Rock song, "Conjunction Junction, what's your function?"  You're too young to remember those -- they were animated educational songs/videos shown on Saturday mornings.  I loved them!  I have them all on VHS (I need to get them on DVD).  I still can sing many of them, and it's the only way I can recite the preamble to the Constitution!

Tracy - my favorite was the adverb one.

LOL I remember watching those in school.  And now, Lisa I think the adverb song will be stuck in my head :)
