Ah, hump day. I think we need a stupendous drink in its honor!
It's also National Lemon Meringue Pie Day:

Lemon Meringue Pie:
- 2 parts Absolute Vanilla Vodka
- 1 part Limoncello di Sonoma
- Squeeze for fresh lemon
- Splash of simple syrup
Shake all ingredients and serve up.
Served with a meringue cookie olive and lemon zest.
Also, today would have been Julia Childs 100th birthday. Her favorite cocktail was:

Upside-down Martini:
1 ½ oz (or more) Noilly Prat® Vermouth
½ oz Tanqueray® Gin
Fill a white wine glass three-quarters full with cracked or crushed ice. Add the Noilly Prat® Vermouth, leaving room for the gin (you might be able to add a little extra vermouth based on the size of the glass and the quantity of ice. Add the Tanqueray® Gin and give the glass a half stir (not too much!) with a small espresso spoon. Twist a strip of lemon peel over the glass, rub it around the rim, and drop it on top. Bon Appétit!
Edited to add one more in honor of Honey Boo Boo:

Pageant mom loads daughter up with ‘Go-Go Juice’
Alana Thompson, a 6-year-old aspiring beauty pageant queen, is known for her bounding energy on TLC’s controversial reality show Toddlers and Tiaras.
Alana’s mother, June, appeared on Good Morning America yesterday and revealed the secret behind her daughter’s hopped-up performances on stage: Go-Go Juice.
June makes the homemade concoction by mixing Red Bull and Mountain Dew, creating a sugary “power” drink that contains the same amount of caffeine as two cups of coffee.
Alana drinks a bottle of Go-Go Juice before every pageant, and her moms says it gives her daughter the kick she needs to walk down the kiddie cat walk.
I believe I've really out-done myself today.
