We got a reprieve, but the temps are back up again - humidity is worse. So, struggling to sleep w/a rattly A/C window unit....
Great show-n-go for my students tonight. I *LOVE* seeing them post pictures of their accomplishments on FB. Even though it was a show-n-go just to get them practiced for upcoming shows, I gave "placement' ribbons and all their FB pics are showing off their ribbons. If they're anything like me, the ribbons and rosettes will get them hooked! lol
It's technically Tues on the east coast, so I started the new thread, but this is from Monday...

I forgot to put earrings in this morning. Why is it that I feel practically naked just because I'm missing one small item from the rest of my attire? I'm tempted to go buy a pair on my lunch break!

heheh! My training partner had to stop on the way to a show because she forgot to put her earrings in and knew she'd be too distracted by the knowledge of forgotten earrings that she might affect how she competed.

I did however have a really weird dream. I dreamed that in addition to a dog, I had an elephant. When I got up to use the bathroom, I actually looked out in the patio to see if he was out there, and then opened the bedroom door to see if he was in the hall. I had to convince myself that no, I most definitely do not have an elephant. Paige? Thoughts?
Elephants in dreams are weird.... "To see an elephant in your dream indicates that you need to be more patient or more understanding of others. Or perhaps there is a memory that you are holding on to for too long. You need to let go of the past. The elephant is also a symbol of power, strength, faithfulness and intellect. Alternatively, the elephant's introverted personality may be a reflection of your own personality. In particular, if you see a white elephant, then it symbolizes royalty."
For me, although I've never dreamt of an elephant, I would believe for myself that it would be reference to the "elephant in the room" or my grandmother, who collected elephants BIG TIME. She and my mom talked about ways she could leave my mom a signal that she was around - an animal or something. So my grandmother said "If you see an elephant, that will be me." My mom replied with some quip that if she looked out her back window and saw an elephant in her yard here in NH, the first thing she thought of would not be Nana.
