Have not had a chance to catch up....what is going on with Twister today???  Whatever it is good vibes Twister!

Woohoo for Nat'l Tequila Day!  I had to share the info and the drink of the day to some of my co-workers.

Hope everyone is well and keeping cool.   It is now 13" behind in rainfall here.  Very hot.  

I entered a contest (3 years in a row) for a 50,000 dollar energy efficient makeover with the Local Electric Co-op.  If we win we get a new A/C for sure.  This is the 2nd summer without and it is wearing on my hubby.   Could use some Idog vibes :).  If I dont win I have been saving my pennies, lol, I am half way there.

Have not had a chance to catch up....what is going on with Twister today???

He's been having trouble with peeing and has been on antibiotics for a bladder infection.  He had an x ray yesterday that showed a bladder stone so he's having that stone removed today.  I'm being a typical nervous dog mom while he's in for the surgery but I'm sure he'll be fine.

Well, I think I might be slow to call Cathy too, but, she IS right.  This gals pity party seems to be just a bit overdone.

Going to see the first spare sons big screen debut on the 11th in/near Providence.  This is the movie where he carries of pic of his brother who died as a child....and that pic is of Mike.  Freaky since the pic was actually sent to him LONG before Mike died.  Still.  But, have seen the trailer for the Film Fest of the movie and can't WAIT to see it.

Still keeping good thoughts for Twister.....

Thinking good thoughts for Twister --- let's see, it's after lunch time in Texas, so maybe you'll hear something soon, Jackie.  I'd be a nervous wreck -- no work would get done on my desk, that's for sure!

Deb's drink-of-the-day made me think of a small dive bar that I drive by nearly everyday that has a sign out front for announcing various events or specials.  Yesterday I noticed it said, "We've got 126 Tequilas!  Try them all!"  I'll have to pass on that challenge!

Another cool, very grey day here -- 57 degrees when I got up.  Yesterday it burned off in the afternoon and the sun came out, although it was still a bit cool.  Today it's supposed to reach 80.  In the meantime, I'm wearing a cardigan to keep the chill away.

I just called the clinic and he hasn't even had the surgery!  I hate the idea of him sitting in a kennel all this time because I know he's scared and if they're so busy (that's what the receptionist told me) they haven't done the surgery, I wonder how often he's been taken out to pee.  He can't empty his bladder fully and needs to go out often.  I'm pissed right now but I'm probably being unreasonable.   The mama bear in me is just barely holding on right now.  grrrrrr

Yay! Luke has a fan coming to see him on Friday! We can't wait to meet you Steph. When he wakes up, I'm going to tell him he better do a good job and catch the ball because someone is coming to see him.

Today was a potluck day at work.  I didn't even thing I ate that much, but I am stuffed!  And sleepy.

I need to get a hair cut, was supposed to go on Sat but I had to cancel and she doesn't have any openings for over a month :(  Going to have to go somewhere else, but I'm completely lost.

Been feeling baby movements for the past week or so, definitely cool/strange :)  

Yea, I definitely qualify for mindless today...

Not much going on here--but we did get the room AC thingies installed. Oh, what a relief for Sinbad :-) and Mom and Dad. We're waiting on a thunderstorm to come through to cool things off, but I don't know if we're actually going to get anything. We need the rain. I dug 'taters today and the garden is completely dry.

 Dinner with friends tonight--I can't wait--they're great cooks, so it's always good!

I did it again...it's Gymbucks redemption week at Gymboree, and I had $125 to redeem or lose.  It's easy to do when you have 4 grands under 6....it's basically getting things half price (even sale items).  Living in the South, the sale items can still be worn for several months if not more.  And with preschool starting up and Hailey's birthday in Sept, this Gram went on another spending spree.  But we are allowed that privilege...  :)  Better enjoy it now, because the oldest is starting to get picky....
