Lisa, I cannot believe your boss' behavior! I'd feel guilty taking an unscheduled vacation day when there was an important audit going on, under any circumstance -- but to do so after being the dope who scheduled it at the crack of dawn in the first place ---- bailing on everyone else who got there at the crack of dawn?! I'm not sure even Michael Scott would be that inconsiderate!
Janice, I hope your child-free morning was productive and enjoyable. I'm imagining you skipping around your house and home office, crossing things off your To-Do List, singing or whistling, maybe some song birds twittering around your head . . . .
Tina, #1 on your annoyance list is one of DH's major pet peeves. And what a tragedy about the little boy in your town. What is it with these monsters who do such horrible things to innocent children? The poor mother has to deal with unspeakable grief, not to mention regret and guilt about leaving her child with the BF.
Kate -- of all things to farm, I think garlic is an excellent choice. One can never have too much garlic, in my opinion. And, as an added bonus, you'll never have any vampires on your farm!
