The kids have daycare this morning after being off for over 3 weeks. I am going to get SOOOOOOOOO much done! lol My to-do list is a mile long. 

YEAH for daycare Jan!  I am sooo jealous!

Back in stats training all day.  Which is fine, but it does crack me up when two stats people start talking all theory and stuff.  I am usually lost within 5 minutes. 

Things annoying me this morning:

1. People who drive 10mph below the speed limit in the left lane.

2. That the Stolen Valor law was declared unconstitutional.

3. That Jerry Sandusky may get to keep his pension.

Other very sad news from my town: last Thursday a 4 y.o. boy disappeared from his home while his mom was at work and the b/f was babysitting. The boy was found buried yesterday under the front porch of that home. B/F is in custody. Ugh.

Tina - I agree with all of your annoyances and feel so sad for the little boy and the mom :(

I decided to take a vacation day today. I worked hard yesterday to get caught up enough to not feel guilty and really needed the break. DH is working today/tomorrow (yay!!!), so Shane and I are going to take a nice walk while it's still cool. I'm going to take him to the vet to weigh him. I'm sure he's fine but I want to make sure he hasn't lost any weight. After that, I think we'll go visit PetCo. I want him to experience going into a store and I think he'll enjoy it. I'd like to go to Home Depot too but I thought I'd heard that they no longer allow dogs in the store. Has anyone else heard that?

Go ahead, ask me if my boss showed up for the audit this morning...go ahead and ask me.

NOPE - he decided to take a vacation day late last night.  Although the audit probably went better without him anyway.

Tina,I hope the bf who killed that boy fries.And If Sandusky gets a pension maybe some of his victims will take him to civil court for it.

Cathy and Shane have fun shopping.I've never seen a dog at Home Depot but I need to buy painting stuff so I might go there today.

I think Lisa's boss reminds me of Michael Scott.Incompetence is kinda funny if you're not actually the one cleaning up after the guy.Sorry Lisa.

Oddly nothing is annoying me today.The weather is beautiful,all my bills are paid and I feel pretty great.The shelter behavourist has a dog for me that may not scare the pants off Turbo so I even have something to look forward to.

The annoyance list is a bit long here today, but that's a Friday at the end of the fiscal year for you. The poor child and his Mom--such a tragedy. We've got some nasty cases of child abuse in RI right now, too. There's not much that makes me madder. The fires are so distressing, too.

OK, I need to find something positive to think about! I love my dogs--that always does the trick :-)

I've decided I want to be a garlic farmer when I retire (or before...I'm not sure I'll make it to retirement :-)
