I was glad to see such a great update on Riley in your post yesterday, Lisa. I hope the news continues to be good -- and good luck with the "no bare feet" rule!
Well, no bare feet here. In fact, I put the heat on when I got up this morning, it was so cold in the house. It's in the low 50's at night, and with little sun, the house doesn't warm up during the day, although the outdoor temps are in the high 60's. Thirty minutes ago it was dark and raining sideways, now there's some large patches of blue sky out there. It will change again, I'm sure.
Cathy, I'm sure Shane will do fine with the CGC assessment. DH went through it with Ruby after completing an obedience class (the instructor was an authorized CGC evaluator). He did it just to see how she'd do, not expecting much. We were shocked that she passed -- we thought she'd have a big problem when DH went out of sight. It would be interesting to see if she'd pass it now, nearly a year later. It's frustrating how her good behavior doesn't translate 100% from the test or class environment to "regular" life. It's like she knows when she's truly supposed to behave (I know, we have a role in this problem!
)
Those email account hackers are so annoying! That happened to my mother last year, as well as my coworker. My Mom was moritified, because they sent Viagra ads to everyone in her address book, including a boss she had before she semi-retired.
Glad you're okay, Callie --- hopefully you're not having to make your commute to work in a rowboat or tie some weights to the dogs' ankles so they don't get caught in any gale winds!
