Talking on Tuesday

    Talking on Tuesday

And a gloomy, dreary one it is at that.  Looking on the bright side tho, at least I didn't have to drag the hose down to water the garden.  Mother Nature has been taking care of that.  And very nicely!

Much to do today so must getting started.

    Wishing everyone a fabulous day!

    Not much new here.

Groggy this morning. I am sleepy. My mind is def not awake yet. Time to brew some coffee.

Working from home today. At lunch I am hoping to clean up a bit around here, including the back yard which I ignored over the weekend.

I might drop both my broken dow bikes off to the bike shop too. They could use a tune up and the tires fixed. I rebandaged abbies foot last night. the injury looks really bad. It is not just a little skin off the pad, it is half of one of her toe pads. It is literally going to take forever for that to grow some new skin over. At least she leaves it alone when its bandaged. She frantically licks it if I leave the bandage off for a bit. I need to find a booty for when she does sar. We have our level 2 night test tomorrow night :( 99% sure we will fail.

    Bummer about Abbie's paw.

It's for a high schooler's project (mental health awareness) and she needs more views. Thanks!

    Will click for sure.

And will keep sending heal fast vibes to Abbie.

I'm working on my second pot of coffee.  It's not helping.

Need to try again today to get home a bit early so I can take care of some of the giant fur bunnies that are all over the house.  I did NO work inside the house this weekend since I was so busy outside.  thot I'd make it yesterday, but it was 4:40 before I pulled in.  Hopefully today......

It didn't want me to click from my iPad. Not much going on here today. Luke and I are headed out in a bit. First to do his therapy visit, then we need to buy his food. I need the hardware store. I think we'll just check ace first and hope they have what we need rather than all the way to lowes. I need some water buckets for the traveling crates, but I have no clue where they might have them without ordering. I need a few things for our traveling crates, and of course, they are not all available from the same place. I need wheels for Luke's crate, the buckets, fans, and a solar shade. Oh... I never eat before I work at 7am. Today I did. Today the kid puked. I hate The smell of chorizo sausage before it is eaten. It is worse after.

Trying to get my menu together for the long weekend.  I like to make potato and a couple of pasta salads ahead of time so that when the weekend comes everybody can just help themselves and throw a burger or piece of chicken on grill.

Deb, that reminds me that I want to make that kentucky derby salad or some name like that.  The one with corn and cucumbers.  That was so good and everyone loved it when I made it. :)

I'm starving and it's two hours till lunch.

    Great video Jan.

Poor Abbie :(. I hope she heals up just fine.

They found the missing firefighter yesterday. His body was found in 105 feet of water. DH says the ladder truck from ground to top of the extended ladder is 105 feet and Bill was an engineer, so it's pretty symbolic, even if they did fudge the #s some. He'd been missing since May 9th and an expert at these types of searches had flown in on Sunday to help, so he must've really known what he was doing. Anyway, I'm glad he was found but it's still very sad.

I'm having lunch with a friend today. It's a make-up date for the one I forgot about last week. It'll be fun to catch up and we're meeting at an all you can eat salad bar type place. In theory, it should be healthy but I doubt it is, at least not for me.

oww, poor Abbie!!  and poor Julie!  Good luck on the sar test anyway!

Cathy, glad they finally found the guy -- so very sad.

All the computers are down at work today -- (*grumble*)  I'm swamped and can't do any of it.

Charlie had a good eye vet visit this morning -- more reductions in eye drops --- It's really cool - when you call his name, he doesn't just turn his head to you -- he makes EYE CONTACT.  That's a really good feeling.  I'm going to try to get him a new ball on my way home -- since I can take the cone off when he goes outside if I'm with him -- I wanna let the boy play BALL!!!

    Great video Jan!

I hope Abbie's foot gets better soon.

Just made an appointment on Saturday to get my hair fixed.  DH can't wait for me to stop whining about it LOL

Was wondering if you could send some vibes out for my friend and her family.  Her dad died suddenly in NC and the funeral is this weekend back here in MI.  So sad for everyone.  I guess he was kyaking and his boat tipped over and he never recovered and ended up drowning.  She was actually DH's friend all through high school and college and stood up in our wedding.  She actually shares our D-day Karen.  Any vibes and peaceful thoughts are appreciated.

We found out Riley's surgery isn't until the end of next month.  I am sort of glad because she will be out of school then and won't have to miss any of the end of school fun day stuff.  Now I can start thinking about how I am going to try to keep her still for a few days.  I think I am going to need a crate LOL

Gloomy day here but I am headed to a suppliers in a little bit so at least I will be able to get out of the office.

    Take care everyone!
