You can put one of those Golden Girls lanai's at my house, mmmmkay?

If my BFF had a lanai that looked like that, I'd visit her a lot more often. Wink. Her's is completely screened in and from what she describes, that's a necessity with all the nasty bugs and other things they have there.

Glenda, if you've never passed a kidney stone, it's an experience that makes food poisoning seem like fun times.

Sucks about the construction noise! It doesn't really bother me because I hear it all the time.

I still enjoyed OR even with the rain :) and it is not much better here so I can hardly complain. It has been raining since I got home. It is just a bit warmer.

I worked my schedule so I didn't have to go in until noon today which gave me some more sleep time. I so needed that after losing 3 hrs! Have I ever mentioned how much I love my job? I do have to get up at 6 tomorrow though so I guess what goes around comes around. My boss asked me how the trip was so I started telling him about the conference, the good and not so good. Then he goes, I am more interested in your sight seeing after haha. Love my boss. He is making me give a presentation about what I learned at the conference though so I do have to pay my dues. Fair enough imo.

They are painting and laying new carpet in our office this week so I need to schedule some inspections or something to keep me away from all the fumes and mess. Can you imagine working in an office with that new paint smell? Gag.

My dad passed a kidney stone the size of a grain of salt and it brought him to his knees and made him cry.

I ended up in the ER with what we're pretty sure was a kidney stone. I wasn't on my knees but I was close. I didn't think I could make the short walk to the car and only walked a few feet at a time while doubled over. On a scale of 1-10 for pain level, it was definitely in the 9-10 range and they say it's worse for men. Crying
