I have officially pulled one egg cooker out of thin air.

Going to an amusement park sounds like a fun bachelorette party idea!  Definitely non-traditional, but also very memorable. 

Wow!  Get busy and miss a few days and there's a lot to catch up on.  I like Jen's idea for a sort of pot luck type of shower.  A shower doesn't have to break the bank.

Glenda, I'm sorry your neighbor is being such a royal pill.  We have a noise ordinance here and people who live near the high school actually call the cops when there's a home football game.  Then the cops have to tell them that sporting events are excluded from that ordinance.  Really?? You didn't notice that the house you were buying was across the street from a high school?? If I'm outside on a home game night I can hear the noise too (I'm about 3 blocks away) but the games are usually over by about 9:30 or so.

It hit 90 degrees over the weekend, and now it's back to the mid 50s and raining. Whatever I planted in the whiskey barrels is now coming up, but I can't remember what it is.  Hopefully, it's something that will keep coming back every spring.

The only bridal shower thing I've hosted was a million years ago--we had it outside--a very simple picnic like thing. I think we even just had cake ,cookies, etc, but I don't remember all the details. We were just out of college and none of us had any money to spare. I like the dish-to-pass idea, too. That's pretty much how we do everything on the island.

Bummer about the baby robins.

 I haven't caught up on everyone's day today but I hope you all had a fairly uneventual Thursday and if it was eventful, I hope the eventfulness was good rather than not good! I hope everyone is feeling ok too.

Where did this week go? I blinked and missed it. 

work Happy hour was pretty fun tonight. Most of us hardly talked to each other much this week at all so it was nice to sit down and catch up and joke around about the chaos that has been going on over the last couple of weeks.

I'm in the process of planning my OR trip! wohoo. I have tomorrow off work (well for the most part, I do have some things to wrap up but I can do them from home) so I am going to spend the day seeking out a rental car and possible tourist destinations for when my conference is over. So excited.

I gave the dogs some raw bones tonight so my house is nice and peaceful with only the sound of gnawing going on ;p
