Friday chatting

Good morning all. To pay for the beautiful weather earlier in the week, we have gray, dreary skies and rain on and off all day. I guess there will be no cleaning up other flower beds today. None are as large as the one I did yesterday, but there are still several needing some serious attention. I didn't get everything cut back last fall because we got hit with 2 feet of snow in October and then I forgot all about it. I'm not a flower gardener. I love what's been done here with something always in bloom and the lovely variety, I'm personally not that energetic about growing things I can't put on the table. Guessing thats a combo of the Scotts heritage and the daughter of a farmer! Or someone who grew up on a farm.

So........now that I've bored everyone right back to sleep!

Wohoo. It is the end of the week and the weather is supposed to be near 80. I am loving MI right now.

This is going to be a long day though. There isn't a whole lot going on at work. I went out to the field yesterday, not sure I could fill another day out right now. Maybe.

We had some serious tornados hit down where Ann lives (max's mom). I'm going to call her and make sure she is ok.

Well, phew! That's all matched up now! Three new threads started at once.

Already had one good luck thing happen - a very Irish big-wig at my company came in with Irish Soda Bread that he shared with our department. YUUMM!!! Best evah!

PS, my face is so swollen and droopy I look like Gracie did after her bee sting! Or Droopy Dog.

Foggy start to the morning, but looks like it's clearing and going to be another beautiful day. When does the other shoe drop?

Just spent two hours out in the emergency garage with the shredding truck, shredding confidential documents . . . . . sheesh, do I live a glamorous life or what ??

Not only is it Friday, its the Friday before St. Patrick's Day. Which means parades and Guinness and fish and chips.

No, because due to the nature of the files/records, I have to be the person "on record" to attest that the documents were actually shredded in front of me.

What Deb isn't telling you guys is that the sensitive documents she's shredding are pictures of their last office party. Wink

Sort of busy here this morning. I'm looking forward to the weekend. :) Twister's at work with me today and he's loving it. He doesn't love the fact that every time he gets out of his favorite office chair, Grabby, er Gabby gets in it and he has to get me to help him make her vacate said chair. She's got no respect for her elders.
