Casper sounds like he and Gabby would have been great friends and they could share a kennel at the vet clinic and tell stories about the neat stuff they'd found and eaten.

Now that would be an entertaining conversation!  After I posted that story, it got me thinking of Casper's other "eating adventures."  He's been gone for many, many years -  but I'm remembering how he would eat paper napkins off your lap while he was under the table at dinner time.  Once he ate an entire bag of Pepperidge Farm cookies left on a coffee table (bag and all).   One day my friends left him in his crate while they went to the movies -- Mrs. D had three loaves of freshly baked bread cooling on the kitchen counter.  Apparently, their wonderful smell drove Casper crazy enough that he figured out a way to break out of his crate and eat ALL three loaves.  He was pretty sick after that incident, but recovered fine.  Big Smile

Anyway, I hope this evening finds Gabby resting comfortably and that soon (if not already) she safely "eliminates" what she ate!

Just now seeing this.  This would have scared me to death.  Hoping everything comes out ok.  Tongue Tied

Oh, Gabby G, given the circumstances I hope you chewed that leash handle really really well and that all the teeny tiny pieces will find their way out (one end of the other) soon so they can be accounted for. That would put your person's mind at rest. She does not want any more grey hair, you know. Be a good girl now and poop or puke those thingies out.

    Good toughts for you, Gabby.

Gabby, you & Cher could be sisters.  (Cher ate baby Jesus over the weekend.  She pooped him out yesterday.)

Fingers crossed for a leash filled poo in the morning!

    • Gold Top Dog

OH NO! Poor Baby Jesus! Surprise I bet Cher won't even get coal this year.

Smooth sailin' poo vibes for Gabby!

We have poop this morning but no pieces of leash yet.  She's got a good appetite so hopefully as things move through so will the leash. lol

I'm just seeing this Jackie but adding my good vibes for Gabby. Sassy can join the "will eat anything" group. I think the strangest was when she ate a soda can. We actually were in disbelief that she'd eaten it until she started pooping tiny bits of aluminum Huh?.

    ((((Jackie)))

Dear GabbyG, I know you're always hungry and mommy obviously doesn't feed you near enough but those leash ends really aren't that tasty.  I tried one before so I know.  Maybe the leash just wasn't your color and you had your chance to get a new one so you took it?

I'll be sending lots of thoughts and good vibes for you today.  Don't be scaring your mommy no more!

LOL @ the grey hairs! I'll leave you be on that one.  Stick out tongue

I to was hoping to read that she had pooped it out. I will continue to hope for a leash filled poop.

Not only have I had my share of scary adventures, But while scooping thinking what on earth is that ( such as pink poop) or how on earth did

they get that.like my husbands missing ear plugs.

Good vibes coming for Miss Gabby.  When Max was a pup he ate two 6 ft. leather leashes, leaving only the metal clasp. Tongue Tied Those leashes weren't cheap ... I seem to remember them being around $30 each and I finally realized I couldn't just put the leash on the table or the counter when we came in.
