How's Gracie? Was the vet visit today
wasn't it? Continued thoughts for her (and you Paige).
Thanks for asking, Johnny. Edit - and Karen. I was posting and walked away, came back, and there was a new MC thread!! :)
Vet aspirated 3 lumps that we agreed were most unlike fatty tumors. She looked at the cells under the microscope to confirm her observation of their appearance in plain sight. All fatty cells. She also says Gracie is too skinny. (Apparently the 1.6 lbs from 68.4 to 70 makes a difference to my vet. She knows that Gracie has always been very fit and on the slim side, she's never been above 73lbs - and that was when she was diagnosed w/hypothyroidism.) She confirmed that G is turning her wrists (both, in fact, not just the right one) and likely trying to relieve neck pressure (from her experience w/all our Dobes), but she didn't think it warrants x-rays or anything.
I'm just paranoid and neurotic about my dog, is the bottom line. I was just totally drained after that, except I'd left my cell phone at the training shop and my credit card in my jacket at home, so I spent another 2 hrs driving back and forth to get the card, pay the bill, drive to get the dogs fed, etc, etc.
I am sort of braindead swimming in a sea of watery thoughts. I suppose I should have some coffee, but my stomach disagrees w/that suggestion.
Hope Willa and Riley are feeling better today.
