Dogs don't usually yelp over a scratch.
Sighthounds, do. I have heard that a sighthound bitch whelping puppies...sounds like someone is being brutally murdered. They feel pain...A LOT...more so than other groups/breeds it would seem. Interesting too since their whelps are typically shaped for a quick easy birth and most shoot them out like a salad shooter!
Lol funny visual there. I can't imagine having a breed that feels pain that much, or atleast one that is very vocal about it. I call neiko a wuss when he holds a paw up ;p

Abbie is still limping when she walks at a normal gait, which is rare. When she moves quickly she doesnt limp at all. I checked her feet and felt up and down her legs, even massaging like i normally do to see if she flinched but i couldnt find anything. Must be a minor muscle pull. We train tomorrow night but i will keep it light.

I'm jealous of someone having humingbirds this time of year (can't remember who posted that)...frozen feeder or not! I have a little red fox squirrel who has laid claim to my backyard. I swear I'm about to name him and start feeding it. It is way too cute, everytime i look out, he is sitting on the same fence post. If i look out and hes not there, i will check again in 10 mins and he will be there. Since he staked his claim about a month ago, no other squirrels have been in the backyard. He must be some kind of red fox king squirrel ;p i need to get a pic.

Good score Willa.  Hope the meds work Jan!  Riley is still stuffy but the fever is gone.  Unfortunately (kind of) she took a 3 hour nap this afternoon and is having a hard time getting to sleep now.  Hopefully I can get some sleep tonight as I have a huge presentation to the board tomorrow morning.  Which reminds me, I better get moving on that Indifferent
