    Monday Mindless Chatter

    Let the week begin.

    Oh, yippee.  Not so much.....

    • Gold Top Dog

    Head cold is finally gone.

I scored big at Kohl's yesterday - $230 worth of stuff for $85 and change!

Looks like it's going to be a decent week.

ETA:  apparently I am spelling challenged today.

WOOOHOOOO!!!!!  I love that kind of shopping!!

    Fingers crossed for Gracie!

It's cold & dreary here today, but I'm still in a good mood.  Cher picked up two Rally Advanced legs this weekend.  Saturday, she won her class & worked beautifully.  Sunday, she was an isane idiot in the ring.  She was forgey, & wanting to play throughout our run.  It wasn't pretty, but she still ended up with a second place finish & a score of 92.  I was a bit annoyed with her for all of 10 seconds after coming out of the ring, but them I decided that I should be happy with her.  If nothing else, she proved to me that she's comfortable & confident enough to enjoy herself in the ring.  For a super serious, does not play in public, girl, that's not a bad thing.

I love Kohl's and need to go there and see what I can find.

I've come down with a cold but not feeling too bad.  Cold and windy this morning after a weekend of nice rain.

My family seems to be under the impression that I'm going to host two separate Christmas get togethers at my house.  Not.  I'll do one but not two.  I love how they make all the plans and then inform me last.

     glad you are better Tina

    good luck with Gracie tomorrow

Bugsy remains flat, 3rd day in a row, he is currently all curled up under a blanket snoring. He never goes under blankets, shrugs.  Hope he is feeling better by tomorrow as we are off the Duke Canine Cognition Center

My mom and sister with the kids, want to take a road trip here between Christmas and New Year's.  Should be fun if hectic.  Whenever people make plans to stay with us I am always reminded of how odd the set-up of our house is, it is a large-ish house but not set up to sleep a ton of people so the couches will be full LOL

OK best get back to being productive

I caught your cold, Tina.  Also have a wicked sinus headache.  Think I'll go back to bed.

He's probably just storing up energy for tomorrow.  Hope he feels better though - they won't recognize him.

Really tired - Riley was up most of the night.  She has a stuffy nose and can't suck her fingers per usual so she kept coming and getting me up.  I think I might have gotten about a 1/2 hour sleep.

Thoughts for my Aunt and her family (this is the one that lost her son about a month ago), her husband, my uncle died this morning.  So much sadness for her.  It was expected, but still - they were married 55+ years - maybe even 60.

I came on to say how much I love my new SmartWool socks.  Aahh, my feet are so much happier!!  Plus they're purple, my fav color!

Speaking of which, I need to get someone to make me a new siggie... I want something kinda flashy and strong.  Hmm..  I should just figure out how to do it myself on my new computer.

So sorry for the loss of your uncle.  Your aunt will be starting a whole new life without him and that has to be so tough.  I hope she's surrounded in love and positivity and encouragement and comfort.

I made friends w/someone online and her brother passed away this weekend.  My thoughts are with H in the loss of her brother, Joe.

Good thoughts for all those dealing with the loss of a loved one at this time. My mom passed away in November and I remember Christmas being a very dark time.

I got a ton of stuff done at home this past weekend and for some reason, it feels like I was off for more than 2 days. I have to get all our Board materials organized and mailed by Wednesday, so it'll be a little hectic until then.

My boss emailed that he's out sick with a cold today. I really, really like him but I'm flabbergasted at how often he calls in sick. He works from home too, so it shouldn't be that hard to just answer your phone and emails thru the day.  Confused

Lisa, I hope your uncle's passing was peaceful.  Hugs to your aunt and to all of you.

Forgot to send good vibes for Gracie.

Lisa, condolences about your uncle.  My aunt lost her husband unexpectedly in October after 35 years together or so, and it's still a huge adjustment.  ((hugs))

I had something to comment on when I came here, read the posts and now totally lost what I was going to say.  Oh, well.

My thoughts go out to those that need it today, for losses and illnesses. :(

My day has been one big staff meeting, essentially. ugh. Now my brain is fried and I just want to be done with this day.

Today is the anniversiy of when prohibition was abolished. Did you all know that? Our office is having a special happy hour event to celebrate.

I watch Boardwalk Empire and I was able to educate my fellow viewer b/c she thought Prohibition was much shorter period than it was. :)

    I cannot imagine a world w/out alcohol!

I just looked down at a note on my desk that says "7Medium style 61009", then "3:30pm" then "stool sample".  Yeah.  I'm livin' the LIFE!

    Where's the alcohol, please?

    Score Tina!

    Good girl, Evil One!

Ugh Lisa. I know the feeling. Willa will NOT blow her nose. She used to, but not anymore. She just sniffles it all back up. Tongue Tied ((hugs)) for your aunt and family.

Ooooh, new SmartWool socks sounds dreamy. I can make a sig for you, Paige. PM or email me pic(s) and info you want included.
