ETA - I was going to do the paperbag iron thing, but then I realized I don't know where my iron is (referring back to conversation thread a couple of weeks back).

    ROFL!!

Let us know if that stuff works on the grease stain. I don't anticipate needing to get crayon out of anything but I always like to hear about a great stain remover.

I just had a call from the vet's office but I couldn't answer it. I know they're calling about Buffy's ashes and I just couldn't take the call. Crazy, huh? I'll ask DH to deal with it tomorrow. I ordered a stepping stone with her name on it and that probably came today too.  Sad

For grease I have had success with two things.  I use Shout Advanced (blueish bottle) on all stains and it usually gets them out on the first try, but I have used it on stains that have gone through the dryer that I didn't realize hadn't come out (baby poopslosions usually) and it still gets it out!  Also, my cousin got a bad grease stain on a pair of her Uggs and I actually came here and Callie told me to try Baking Soda and water paste and it worked like a charm.  She was so upset about it and so so happy it got it out!  In fact, here is the thread: http://forum.dog.com/forums/p/110819/906601.aspx#906601

I found a workaround today, after MONTHS of looking, for a printing problem I keep having in Excel 2010 where it resets my page breaks as soon as I hit print.  I am so happy about it.  Except then my client called and she has Excel 2007.  I can't tell if my rememedy is working for her or not because it is like the blind leading the blind when trying to tell her and my boss who is over there what to do.  Oh well, at least it is figured out here!

I got an invite to an event Thursday night featuring an artist that seems to be quite popular. Here's a picture of one of his pieces -

Is it just me or do others have trouble seeing stuff like this as art?

lol, I don't mind some of the weird stuff that is considered art unless my tax dollars are paying to install it somewhere, which happens all the time.  Some of the things I've seen passed off as art and paid for with tax dollars is really beyond lame. I'm all for free expression of an artist's spirit but don't make me pay for it. lol

    (((hugs)) to Cathy re:Buffy's ashes.

Stopped by the rescue tonight to drop off a donation of blankets my mom picked up at a yard sale.  Ended up buying next year's calendar, being told my dog is in there.  She is not.  All a good cause, so, whatever. lol

Thanks Paige. There was a msg here at home and the memorial stepping stone also arrived today. I'm not thrilled with the quality but it's still nice. There's a place in the yard where the sun really warmed things up on cooler days and Buffy loved to lay there. I think she'd be happy with her place of rest. I think it'll help us both to have a place to remember her.

We updated our DirecTV DVR last year too and lost a TON of movies.

That sculpture kinda looks like a heart with chains and a pointy… um… well... a you-know-what on top.

(((((CATHY & MR CATHY)))))  I just got Tessy's ashes home night before last and know how you're feeling!  It does give comfort though just knowing she's home where she belongs.
