    Tuesday Talkin' . . . . Deb W.

    I need a Cheez-Its intervention.

    That is all.

It's been a year since Moose the cat went to the Bridge.  Thankfully, Buddy has helped my heart heal.

    OMG  . . . .  Tina:

Last night at around 3 am, Jamison decides he needs to go out.  So I get up and let him out the back door.  While he's out there, I go and get a bottle of water from the frig.  Within about 3 seconds he starts howling like a madman.  So I go running out with the leash to drag him back into the house and guess what ??  He had an OPOSSUM cornered by the fence.  Freaked me right the hell out after your post yesterday.

    Buddy. . . . . . give your Mama extra snuggles today.

Oh geez - what a weird coincidence!  Was it playing dead or was it hissing at him?  They are pretty creepy.

Agnes cornered one in the yard one night - it was huge.  She wouldn't come in, so I went out to get her and the opossum was playing dead.  I picked her up and carried her in, hoping the stupid thing wouldn't decide to be un-dead when I stepped a foot from it to get her.

    • Gold Top Dog

Yeah, it was playing dead.  Good thing Jamison is scared of his own shadow and would never actually try to get it !!

hahahaha good boy Jamison - Bugsy would have been after it and then running like a maddog around the yard for an hour if he saw one in the yard

Lots of hugs Tina and be extra snuggly today Buddy

DH has gotten to be such a fidget in bed and its making me very unhappy - he seems to think I want to be aware of his being awake.  Newsflash I don't care and just don't want you to wake me up! Grrr

I can't believe how fast October has been

    Hugs Tina.

Morning all,  having to decide whether to make changes on my health insurance....ugh!  Decisions,Decisions.

    Have a good day!

(((Tina))))  The dogs send you lots of sweet kisses.

Gabby is in a state of doggy bliss this morning.  Belle is at the office this morning and since Belle and Ruger are Gabby's BFF's, she's running around kissing them both and acting like she's gone crazy.  Crazier. lol

Karen, I do believe our hubby's must be related.

    The interviews continue.

I left my smartphone at the office yesterday but have to admit I didn't notice until DH wanted to put some app on it for me. lol

Ohh they can be nasty -- they have more teeth in their mouth for the size of them than ANY animal in the world!!  no joke.  They hiss -- and generally are just plain nasty little things if they AREN'T playing dead.

Back after hurricane Frances when Billy had just come to live with us, he was gone "outside" for a long time and when he did come in he dropped this "dead rat" at David's feet (IN the living room).  Billy pleased as punch to have given David such a prize.  David got Billy to the bedroom (it was 5:00 a.m.) so he could then go back and take care of the "dead rat" -- which was GONE.

Want scarey -- try a live PO'd possum IN your house.  LOL -- but we survived it.  She had a right temper tho -- wow.

PetAirways had to change Charlie's flight again (they couldn't get out of LA because of the President's visit yesterday so it set them a whole day behind).    So I'm practicing being "flexible" today LOL

Morning all.  I've had nothing but bratty women addressing me this morning (gotta love HR people who are not people, but an entity of superiority and disconnect from reality all their own...)  Lady, I know more about how this on-boarding process goes than you do, and I'm faster.  It's amazing YOU have a job before me.... Then again, I was the one who was late and I got an earful from her how she told my boss she was looking for me.  (Dog back to the vet this morning unexpectedly - she has either pulled a staple or "dehiscence" - I learn a new word every day.)

Can I get a 2x4 and a giant alcoholic drink?  I just got an email from my boss requesting a meeting about my tardiness problem.  Aaahh!  YAY!

Still happy about the Rangers win last night, but grumpy about other things. The curious mix of happy and grumpy has put me into a Cure binge...so I am sitting, drinking my Pumpkin Spice coffee and listening to Robert and the boys lamenting, sighing, and wishing.

No Paige - you don't need the 2X4 -- just pull the Miss Congeniality trophy off her desk and HIT HER WITH IT.  It's probably already got embedded hair from the last person who did the same thing!

Did you ask her if she could SPARE the salt she was trying to rub into the wound??  And that it was the DOG's wound not yours!!???

I had a really nice fruity Sangria the other night at Longhorn -- it would be a lovely morning drink I'd think.  *passing to Paige*

Gina -- this isn't the FIRST time your cure has been "The Cure" -- and now every time I hear them on the radio I think of you!!! LOL

Clive has his first cold (which is probably a combination of my cold and the cold I'm pretty certain the other baby he goes to daycare has). He felt a little warm last night, but it seems to mainly be a stuffy nose thing.  Gone are the days where he willingly lets me suction his nose.

He's in good spirits, though, even if he is full of snot

I didn't bother mentioning that to her, since she was asking nosy questions about other things like "why do you EVEN come in at 9am?"  Uhm, lady, you're in HR and know nothing about me - but, yeah, that's my shift and I commute from XYZ town, which is almost an hour's drive.  "Where is that?!" with the kind of disdain that makes it clear to me she's never set foot outside her 15 mile radius of security.  Clearly, I'm not a fan.  But, had I not been late, she'd have nothing to lord over me.  I was late.  Now I gotta deal w/the outcomes of that - all of them, including talking to the other person in the house about making sure the dog is taken care of on hours that I can help, or I can't take responsibility for if it will make me late again.  *sigh*

    (((Tina)))

Karen - maybe you need a bigger bed? I'm super sensitive to noise and a lot of movement, but the king helps and having a mattress than doesn't jiggle with every movement helps too.

I guess I'm not the only one who had a crappy (literally) start to the morning. I took Buffy outside to feed her and stepped in her poop. It was too dark to do much of a clean-up though and I was already running late. DH wanted to have a big discussion and I finally had to tell him "don't talk!!" a few times or my head was going to explode. It was one of those days when I was happy to have a job I needed to leave for. Super Angry
