Where do they sleep?

    Where do they sleep?

    Where do your dogs sleep?

Earl sleeps in his crate.  He really likes it and goes in there often during the day....but for some reason he barks like crazy every night when I close the crate door.

Both dogs sleep in their crates. They love them, and often nap in them throughout the day

At night - on, or under, blankies on the bed. Yes, I share the bed with all four dogs.

During the day, Kash is crated when nobody is home. The other three are loose in an upstairs room.

Depends on their mood and mine. Sometimes i crate them. Sometimes all 3 sleep on my bed. Sometimes they choose to sleep in a crate, or under the bed or on the floor or in the closet...i dont have any dog beds laying around because they will get marked.

Caleb sleeps wherever he wants.  He has beds in our room, our son's, on the closed in porch and in the livingroom, a mat on the livngroom floor infront of the couch, and a crate pad at the bottom of the stairs.  Some nights he goes up to bed with us, and others he chooses to stay downstairs, others he goes up with us and starts out in our son's room but he always ends up in his bed in our room.

Tyler and Sheba are loose in our room at night, and take turns on the bed, by their choice.  Thunder insists on sleeping in his crate, as does Theo, and Theo's is in the office.  Shadow sleeps with DS or on DS's chaise lounge.

Pan in a crate an arm's length from my side of the bed. Nikon and Coke are free.  They tend to start on the bed, get hot, and then get off.  Coke prefers a dog bed and Nikon ends up on a rug next to Pan.  If it's unbearably hot (like 90+ INside the house) then Coke might leave and sleep on the bathroom floor.  Nikon will never leave so I put a fan on the floor for him and Pan.

Brinxx & Chyna sleep in kid's rooms.  Brinxx in the bed with on kid.  Chyna on an orthopedic bed in the other kid's room.

The other six dogs sleep in our bedroom.  We have a nursery off of our bedroom that it stocked with beds for the dogs.  It also houses the foster boy's crate.  Shooter, Schatzi, & Angel sleep in beds in there.  Bevo & Cher sleep in bed with us.  Bevo at my feet.  Cher, sharing my pillow.

Rummy sleeps in his crate in my bedroom. When I say "bedtime" he gabs one of his toys and scampers into his crate, then I give him a couple nighttime treats and he's good for the night. He is still too young for me to trust on his own just yet.

Gizmo was crated at night for about over year before I let her have free range of the home, then she chose to sleep next to my side of the bed on the floor. Now that she lives with my parents she sleep right next to my Dad's side.

My fosters usually sleep in a crate.

Jamison sleeps where ever he wants, but most of time ends up in bed with us.

Charlie sleeps in bed with us curled up behind .  I swore as a first time dog owner that I would never allow that, but well, that lasted about two weeks.  I am getting him used to sleeping in a dog bed next to the bed because frankly it gets really hot.

But how could you say no to this face:

We still have one cat in the house, so we have to rotate dog/cat time in the house.

The dogs have the utility room which is carpeted, air conditioned and access to the front and back of the house (under my control).  We also have a very nice garage kennel set up for them with crates inside the kennels and beds.  Most of the time, they sleep inside the house in their gated room..but they've been known to go sleep in their comfy crates outside too.

The couch.  Both dogs, take it up one end to the other.  Each has her own side.  I keep explaining to my hubby that's why it's call "fur"nature!

Sadie sleeps in her crate in our bedroom and Timmy sleeps on his bed which is on the floor right next to my side of our bed. Timmy starts out in our bed for cuddles then we kick him off to his own bed for the night. Sadie usually gets let in our bed in the morning, whoever gets up first, me or DH will let Sadie out and she runs into our bed burrows down under the covers near our feet. Timmy usually hops up in the morning as well, but takes either mine or DH's spot. If its summer and really hot, Timmy will go into the bathroom or downstairs to sleep on the slate, but it has to be REALLY hot for him to leave our room and go downstairs.

Max sleeps on  my bed.  He has a water bowl in my room and that's where is doggie door is.  In the summer he likes sleeping under the ceiling fan and in the winter I reset the electric blanket for him.
