LOL, Tina!  Thanks for the low fat cake since I plan on having a nice fattenting cupcake at some point today. :)   I am watching what I eat these days but hey, if a person can't indulge a little on their birthday, what's the point? 

 Thanks for the birthday wishes!   DH got me some really pretty earrings (I picked them out,lol) and some funny and sweet cards.  We'll probably go out for dinner this evening.  It's all good. 

Busy day today at the office with lots of hot and sweaty customers needing service ASAP.  I've gotten behind on paperwork because the phone is so busy.

beautiful day here - low 60's this morning and I believe still below 70

my exciting news for the day?  I washed a set of my bedroom drapes to see if they'd be OK in the washer or if I had to get them professionally cleaned and yippee they did great in the old washer/dryer.  Yes my life is this sad LOL

That's all really - nice walk the last few days with beastie but sad to say he is still pooping orange and soft. Apparently the color is due to the bacterial overgrowth - he is feeling much better but I so want to see normal poo

finger isn't throbbing today  thinking I'll go to a minute clinic for a tetanus just to be sure

I've still got caution tape hanging from the electric wire over my driveway.  Kinda makes me feel like I was driving away from a crime scene this morning LOL.

As soon as I got to work today it clouded up, thundered, barely rained but gave us a beautiful Rainbow!  That is 2 rainbows in less than a week, that has to be a good sign.

Hope you go some place nice for dinner. I had to most horrible for ya dessert the other night.

Cheese cake in a light flaky cinnamon crust deep fried and cover in warm Carmel. Well worth it.

I did wait watcher over a year ago so I usually watch what I eat to.

I spent the morning looking for work . I still have to finish painting the porch, cant waite to finish so I can get started on the kitchen and living room

. When we moved in here 5yrs ago said I never paint the rooms again. But alas I should of knew better .I get bored of the colors and have to change. Happens all the time.

Watching reports on this Hurricane Irene has me really concerned for our southern friends.  Can't believe Kate Winslet was at David Branson's place on Necker Island and the whole house burned down (from a lighting strike from the storm, they believe.)  I know it's a couple of days away, but please be careful friends!

Not much else here.  Autumn is swiftly invading and I'm peeved, but it is what it is.  I'd really like another 6 weeks of summer temps, please.
