I am up at 3:33am because Little Miss Somebody neglects to eat her dinner and has a completely empty stomach that starts roaring and gurgling and she MUST go outside to peuk. Only way to save this night is offer her a ton of cookies because she has no interest in her full dinner bowl sitting right next to us.... *sigh*... or more like *yaaawn*.

Company had a work function until about 10 last night and plenty of folks were drinking and partying. Most are expected at an 8:30am meeting. So if I show up yawning with circles under my eyes, at least I won't look out of place.

Technically I have today off, but......... We have an event at the store Friday and Saturday. I am on vacation today through Wednesday. I am going to buy refreshments for the store event and drop off a couple of coolers. Several errands to run, mow the lawn etc etc....

The city is shutting our water off today for some sort of emergency repair. Guy came around yesterday afternoon handing out flyers to notify everyone in the neighborhood. Kelly was in the front yard when he came by. He then went to the neighbors...I think she is off her meds again. Poor guy got an earful from her. Cussing, ranting, calling him all kinds of names. Everyone in that house is crazy.

Had gutters installed yesterday. Guy coming tomorrow will re-grade around the house, new edging, new rock, new shrubs, new sidewalk. I will post some before/after pictures.

We also have mice in the house. Tiger (cat) caught one. We have been seeing them dart around occasionally and droppings. Had a pest control company come out for an inspection. They are coming back Tuesday to seal up various nooks and crannies, spray for insects......

ARGH !!!!!!!! I am ready for this trip to northern MN Drinks Sleep Pizza

It always weirds me out when it's pouring rain while the sun is shining.

Happens all the time down here -- this is the rainbow capital of the world. I probably only saw a couple of rainbows in my life til I moved down here and down here you see singles, doubles, triples, and the occasional quadruple rainbows. Mostly cos it's always raining somewhere down here and right next to it the sun is shining. Weird but has it's perks. LOL

There was a train stuck all thru downtown this morning so no one could turn left. It turned all the drivers into mush-brained idiots. *sigh*

I hope to sign a new client today - I have concerns about her maturity but we shall see

I've been contemplating a cheaper solution to my business line and by golly I am going to take the plunge

Just a quick hello before we go to catch the ferry. It's acupuncture/chiropractor day for Sinbad. Make zucchini bread and muffins (just the bread mixture in a muffin tin) last night. Had some for breakfast. Hope everyone has a good day! Hugs for all who need them.

I cannot wake up this morning. I'm on cup of coffee #5 & I'm still yawning & walking around in a haze. So much for being productive today...

I need to go into the office today. Bleh. But, I have to wait until the housekeepers leave so I can bring the dogs back into the house. There is NO way they are going to stay outside all day in this heat. And, Rick is down in Alvin working today.

We are having our quarterly blood drive at the office this week. I try to give blood twice a year...last time they were in desparate need of O+ plasma...so did that. Its nice to Commit for Life. Big Smile Someday I, Rick or Courtney may be in need.

Morning all, I had to make a quick delivery this morning, it was a nice break in the routine. We got a small shower this morning and it was great, temps are rising again but at least we had a little break last week. Another good thing is typically we will have more nice days than hot days from here til October. The kids will come home for the Labor day weekend break so I hope it starts cooling down like it usually does since there is no AC at my house nice outdoor temps would be really good.

Got lots to do today! Hugs to those that need them!

granite tops arrived a bit ago - being fitted now - they look great (although DH's has more color than mine Sad )
