Getting Over Death of Old Dog to Bond With New Dog...

I'm so sorry that you lost your dog. I don't really know why I came here and typed all that out. I guess I just thought it would be cathartic to type my feelings out and maybe I would get a response or two from others who loved dogs and had been in a similar situation. I really didn't expect the amount of posts- or the depth, wisdom or amount of caring that has come through. Maybe that's what brought you back- the people here seem so nice. It means a lot that you would post to me when you are going through so much yourself.

I've never been able to have more than one dog at a time- I was just never sure I could afford it. I'm glad that you have your other three, but I know nothing will take the place of Rogue. Maybe it's intended that you will have a fouth one again. As you say, dogs come to us for a reason- so hopefully time will work things out for both of us in the way it's intednded.
