 Lisa, your story brought back memories for me. I can totally relate to your initial shock of Riley covered in blood. When my son was around 4, I walked into his room to wake him up one morning I nearly did have a heart attack. The first thing I saw was blood smeared all over the wall above his bed. There was a small pool of blood on the pillow and blood all over his bedding - but there was no kid! I was sure he was killed by a lunatic in the night. I screamed his name and 2 seconds later he was standing behind me. Face and top bloodied but otherwise fine. Turned out, like Riley he had a nose bleed. After I loved him up and dealt with his nose, I did have to tell him how disgusting it is to wipe a runny nose on the wall and gave him his own box of tissue for his bedroom. God knows how long he had been using the wall as a kleenex?

well the bathroom is coming along - it is going to look wonderful and the tiling should be completely done tomorrow - vanities in place, toilet in. The countertops & shower doors will be about 10-14 days as will new windows (here in NC you seem to have to replace windows fairly regularly, shrugs)  All the drywall will be skimmed and all painting complete Sat & Sun.  I don't really want to have work on the weekend but better than another work week.  All the other stuff will be contained to the bathroom and a couple of hours max.  DH will do the windows.

So I won't really be able to clean everything up until after Sunday but I should be able to start to clean things up which will make me happy.  Well having something clean will make me happy.

Just posted in SC about my neighbor's golden - he wasn't able to get up a bit ago so i was over there helping the neighbor get him from hardwood floor to a rug.  His wife is away and he was a wreck.

There is a rumor that we will have highs in the 80's soon - lows in the 60's - that is a 20* drop so oh yea baby that is going to feel cool.  I honestly can't recall a day where we topped out in the 80's

The owner of Bugsy's bestest girl Bella called last night and he had a wonderful time there - they have such a special relationship, always pleasing to watch them.  Plus my friend loves B and is so good to him - he and his girl busted part of a lamp last night.  he has been out of full commission for so long that he was soooooooooooooo joyful to be out and social

Cathy I am so sorry - pancreatic cancer is one of the worst by far.
