I'm just running by - had my annual gyn appt. this morning.  I appear normal, but will have to wait for the lab results. 

First, Tina I read that as your "annual gym appt." and I thot "Girl after my own heart!"

then ... "I appear normal" -- no one has ever accused ME of appearing normal -- not no way not no how!! congratulations...er ... or did you mean your gyn exam looked normal?  (*running away before someone hands her the 2X4*)

Yes, this is what I meant.  I wasn't sure anyone really wanted me to say my v-jay-jay appeared normal.  LOL  I don't think there is any lab work that measures whether one's appearance is normal, but if there is, I will not agree to it.

Well we got a small amount of rain at our house this weekend.  It was short and sweet but very welcomed

OK I need you guys to wish me luck, I have to go to the local shelter and look at a "Newfie" for a resue.  It would be odd that he would be PB especially in our neck of the woods.  Dont know much about him but I know I will prolly fall in love and I cant have any more sooo I need some "Just gather information vibes :)"

Of course we did - we were all waiting with bated breath to hear the state of your va-jay-jay.  Will there be a news conference??

Tina, I was just being deliberately obtuse -- it must be old timer's disease --  I can't seem to be serious this morning -- I still usually have to have biopsies every year, so I try to be as lighthearted as I can. 

But ... when it comes to the boob squish thingamy - I'm a J cup (which means a DD overfloweth a great deal more) so they tend to have to call in a contractor -- squishing me is a lot like squishing a mountain -- where everyone else gets 3 films per side - i usually get 8 -12.  This is why I try to laugh -- cos otherwise I'd just cry. 

And heck -- my life's motto is "why be normal".

Cathy, baited breath is what it smells like when you first wake up.    Not you, personally, of course.

Janet, I just caught a brief bit of the story about the train crash.  I can't imagine how terrifying that must have been for the people on those trains. 

Generally, I don't let the bad stuff going on in the world affect me for long but lately it seems it's just one tragedy after another.  I think I'll just stick to my HGTV and Food Network shows and let you guys fill me in on anything important.  Like what Lady Gaga's up to and stuff like that.
