TGIF baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Karen, I'm so happy to know your'e on your way to a little R & R and that B isn't limping this morning.    Sing it loud and sing it happy!  Gabby and Belle say "AROOOOOOOO!"  Rex and Twister are pouting since they aren't going. lol

We did have a little rain here and there around town yesterday.  Didn't get any at the house but it is very muggy this morning and I think we have a chance for rain today. 

Have a great Friday everyone and feel better vibes for those who need them.  Special vibes to Georgeann and Finn.  I hope whatever is going on isn't serious.

DS burned some sandalwood incense in the house the past two nights even though I've specifically asked him not to.  I am sensitive to odors, and frankly, sandalwood makes me gag.  I've got a dull headache from it again this morning.  I will have to remind him again not to burn the crap.

Tooth is no better or worse.  I'm going to call the dentist today and hope they can squeeze me in Monday or Tuesday.

It is muggy and foggy here.

Deb, I really don't have any picks for the Preakness because the field really stinks.  Maybe the 13, Concealed Identity, would be my long shot as he is the only horse who has run at Pimlico.  He's never run a Grade 1 race, though.

End of the world tomorrow and the radio station I listen to wants people to text the 3 things they'd do beforehand.  Here are mine:

1. Make sure DS and kitties are safe, then burn my house down and roast marshmallows over the fire.

2. Go visit all 3 of my friends.

3.  Cook with my guy friend one last time.

Geez, I'd better get started - this might take more than 24 hours.

Oh yeah!  FINALLY Friday.  A couple hours in the office and then I get to come home and play in the dirt.  Well, the mud actually since we seem to be hording ALL of Jackies rain.....another day of good hard labor and we should be able to fence and start planting.  So, here's hoping that the DS will get moving.

I have to laugh at him working.  He is trying to use the leaf rake and pitch fork to get out the "bad stuff".  Then, now and again he'll pick up the real "mean" rake, and put some actual effort into it.  I, on the other hand, am using a hand claw since my shoulders do not appreciate the big rake.  While he putters around changing tools and griping, I finish twice what he does crawling around in the dirt.  He might be staying cleaner, but I'm getting 'er done.  And, not a minute too soon because my plants are HUGE and really, really need to be in the ground.

Rain rain go away...come again another day....like when we actually NEED it!

OMG !  I have a $5 WPS show bet on him and Isn't He Perfect as my long shot bets.  I picked Dance City as my winner.  A stretch I know, but will pay a pretty penny if he can pull it off.  One can always dream, .

Busy weekend ahead.  Tonight we have friends coming over for steaks on the grill.  Tomorrow we have our own little Preakness party and on Sunday we head down to Waterfront Park to see a Trenton Thunder (AA NY Yankee farm team) ball game complete with hot dogs and cold beers.

 Just found out last night that FH's STBX's time of ditching her responsibilities is about to catch up with her.  I don't want to say too much on here right now, but on one hand I'm happy to see that the system, while ridiculously slow does eventually do something, but on the other hand its sad that it had to come to this.  Plus I'm sure there will be some unpleasant backlash.

 Jackie if I could figure out how to send this rain to you, it'd be yours.  It has rained here all week, is supposed to be nice tomorrow and then another week of rain.

Tina, I can feel your pain, incense gets to me too.

I'm glad today is Friday. That means tomorrow I meet up with my Mom for her belated bday gift of movie and dinner. We're off to see the new Pirates movie in 3D. I just have to say, I LOVE my Mom. She truly is one of my best friends. I talk to her several nights a week and see her as often as possible. Sunday, I'm supposed to be walking in a walk-a-thon that Weight Watchers is doing. 3 mile walk. Easy peasy, but I don't think my friend will make it. She recently had surgery so 3 miles will be a bit too much. In that case, I'm debating not going. Being around THAT many strangers by myself is absolutely terrifying for me. If I don't, I'll go on a hike with Ari instead. The weather is supposed to be nice on Sunday. Hard to imagine since it's been gray and raining all week! 

Lots to do today. I'm trying to approach today with as much positivity as I can muster. 

Sharon, GO TO THE WALK!!  You will meet new people, make new friends maybe, AND feel good about yourself for doing it.

LOL!  I agree!

Sharon, can you take Ari on the walk?  I do understand not wanting to go it alone because of your anxiety problem but maybe having Ari with you  would help.  Just a thought and have fun with your Mom.   I think it's wonderful that you two have such a good relationship.

Tina, hurry up and get here before tomorrow but I understand if your guy friend visit takes priority. 

Glenda, hope the rain lets up long enough to get your baby plants in the ground.  Laughing at your description of your DS' raking compared to yours.  That sounds very familiar since my DH can spend forever finding just the right tool or method where I'm the lets just get this done type and quit making a simple chore into an engineering project.
